I love this case because it is very robust. I have one for my Samsung tablet and I've dropped it many times with no damage to the tablet. My Kindle 7 is very stable in the easel position unlike the original case that I bought. I never convert to the portrait position because you have to pull it off Velcro and then when you want to close it you have to carefully realign it in the landscape position. I also like it because I am able to lock the Kindle in the portrait position and prop the cover in the opposite direction in so that I can read it when my head is lying on the pillow.

This review is for the more expensive Dual View Pro (2015) Amazon Fire 7 case, color Black.The tablet case fits my Amazon Fire 7 (2015) perfect. All the cutouts for the camera and speaker are in the correct locations. The overall finish is very nice leather (not plastic) with red and black stitching. The tablet folds out to form a triangle when open. The storage pockets hold 3 credit cards and 2 data cards and there is a pocket for cash or papers. The palm strap holds the tablet when you remove it from the case and helps to keep you from dropping the tablet. It also comes with a ballpoint pen and the case has a magnetic closure. The final thickness with the tablet closed is about 1-1/4” thick and it measures 4-3/4" x 7 3/4". I definitely would buy this case again and the quality and price makes this a good buy.

I have ordered several of these rooCASE's because they are such a good deal and it's fun to have several different colors. A fine quality, classic style case at an affordable price. This rooCase is awesome! It's exactly as described.All the ports are easily accessible. The case is well-crafted, sturdy but not bulky nor heavy. What got me to purchase this case was the fact that it was a slide-in case (not one if those cases with the plastic snap-in corners) which is much more secure for holding the Kindle Fire. An added bonus was the case's cover acts as a built-in stand that works perfectly. No more worries about a falling Kindle as you're reading a recipe or watching videos. If you own a Kindle Fire I highly recommend this case. You won't be disappointed.

This case ia all that and more! I just received it today so I'm still excited! It looks exactly as pictures, very, very pretty. The fire 7 fits perfectly everything lines up, easy to figure out and functional. Only criticism is a Lil klunky when you remove from outer cover, u thought it would be like a regular wrap around protective case but it has a square, not fitted felt board on back to attach it to our Outer case. Not whati expected but not too bad either, easier to hold than without any cover. It could only be better in real leather, but probably price me right out of owning, so YES, GREAT COVER! LOVEVIT!

I bought this case specifically so I could use it in the Portrait position. This case uses Velcro to change positions. Which isn't the most convenient but works. Unfortunatly this case didn't keep my Kindle Fire in the Portrait position without falling over. So, it is not for me. However, if you are looking for a nice sturdy case that is very stable standing in the Horizontal/Landscape mode, this is a great case. The choices in design are nice. The case is made well and protects your Fire nicely. I wish it had worked in the Portrait mode so I didn't have to return it.

I picked this out because--call me shallow--it was pretty.Plus:The Color Tree Pattern is really pretty and is easy to find when put down.It truly does display the Kindle in landscape and portrait postions.The outside is easily cleaned.Negatives:It's a bit floppy in both positions. I do find that if you place the Kindle in the position you want and then move the Velcro side to support it, you can read without readjusting.What you can't do is tap on it without holding it. No biggy. I tap with one hand and hold the Kindle in position with the other.

I have some RooCases for Kindles that are real leather, and they are very nice. This one is not real leather, so it's not quite as nice from a texture standpoint. I bought two of these, in Navy and Blue. The Navy is so close to black you might as well save a dollar and order the black one. These do fit very well, but I wish the magnetic closure was a little more secure. Also, the velcro is not quite as secure as I expected. The ones I got did come with the stylus/pen. For the price I think these are a very good choice to protect your Fire 7.

Great case, sturdy and well made. My only criticism is that its quite heavy so I have to take the kindle out the case to read it.

Colour should be magenta same as the Kindle fire but it is pink so not entirely happy with it .

Super tolle hülle. Aber der klettverschluss hält langsam nicht mehr so richtig & das fire hochkant stellen ist machbar aber jenachdem wie man es fest macht (am klett) bleibt es nicht hochkant. Stabile hülle!
