Just set up last week & love it. 18 gallon size tucks perfectly under countertop (even with flaps up) and looks fantastic! I was worried it would be overly sensitive because it’s in a high traffic area, however it only opens when I need it to. It also stays open just long enough, and is quiet. DOG OWNERS: this trash can is a must if you have curious dogs. Our cocker spaniels are notorious trash bandits no more! The dog proof clip at the top is great, however we haven’t even had to use it because they can’t quite reach up over the edge of the can. If you have larger than medium-sized dogs, I imagine the clip is very handy. Overall we’re extremely satisfied, however, since we’ve only had it a short time, I’ll revise stars if needed. EDIT: Still love this trash can, but trying to find bags to fit! Regular tall trash liners rip.

We love the product. Our dog likes to dig in the garbage when we’re not home and this was a godsend. We can easily switch the auto open feature off and close the lid when we head out. The batteries last a long time. We’ve had this for 2yrs now and it still works great. The batteries lasted a little over a year.

6 month review. Door doesn't close all the way, motor is slowing down. No change after battery replacement. Worked great at first, we loved it. Too bad.

I purchased one 5 years ago and it worked flawlessly for all 5 years. It finally died but 5 years of service is well worth the investment. So I purchased another one. 5 Months after purchase the sensor stopped working. I contacted customer service for repairs and they responded with a purchase receipt request. I sent it to them and that was 45 days ago. They went silent . . . I've sent several emails with no response. Edited 06/27/2024: Talked to customer service today (because the warranty is up in 30 days). Phone call took 5 minutes and they are replacing the lid (service cost of $14.95) but I didn't mind paying it. I changed it from 1 star to 5-star rating. DO NOT email them (you have to call the service number) for immediate service.

I would still recommend the iTouchless Sensor Trash Can for those in need of a large, efficient waste disposal solution, but advise potential buyers to be prepared for possible shipping issues. The convenience and quality it offers, once the unit arrives intact, are well worth considering.

This is the first ever motion activated garbage can that we have owned. I resisted getting one after reading reviews that "poo-poo" them. I am here to say they all were Wrong! We both just Love this thing!! If you are shopping for one, this is a good buy!! I also bought the plug because the can sits right in front of a plug receptacle. So no batteries required!! NOTE: A very small part of my resistance is due to a motion activated kitchen faucet that we had in a former home. I really did like using it, especially when cooking - messy hands and all. But, I would find myself waving at or tapping other faucets in the house, standing there for a second (like an idiot) before realizing I had to turn the water on myself! LOL I am here to report that I have NOT ONCE waved at any other garbage container in the house since getting this one.

We have had this trash can for 3 months and it just stopped. My husband replaced the 4 C batteries. It's still wouldn't work. Then I saw someone else had turned the switch on...we tried that and voila! This is something that needs to be shared with folks!!!

I purchased this trash can some time ago and put off the writing of the review originally because I really did not like the fact that it took batteries that for some reason seemed like they would die prematurely (I replaced twice during the early life of the can). The annoying thing is that it’s not very easy to open if there is no power. Once I added the dc power transformer / plug, this trash can is pretty good. Sturdy and a good size. I have used both 30 and 21 gallon bags. Both work well. A few things though, the odor filters are just not that good. I do tend to change the bag with enough time that I don’t really worry about the smell so for me this is not a huge deal. I think that the scented bags are enough and just as if not more effective. The other small issue with the can (as you can see in the photo). The first time I cleaned the trash can, I used vinegar to clean some sticky stuff that got on the top, while it was fairly easy to clean, the vinegar did strip off some of the color. Though the can does still work and beats other cans I’ve used before.

This is honestly infuriating 🤬 The Amazon page and the pamphlet that came with it show two different battery types No one could tell me what batteries were actually needed After buying both, the garbage still does not work They state they have great customer service, well I’ve emailed 8 times, have called daily and have submitted a request on their website to have no reply. I would have returned this however I have 2 sets of batteries that I’ve spent money on that I cannot return AND the garbage cans box doesn’t fit in my car so I’d have to borrow someone’s car to return it. Just absolutely ridiculous all around. Save your money, get any other brand

L'inox à l'intérieur n'est pas protégé par un bac intérieur donc en cas de fuite du sac moins pratique à nettoyer et risque de faire couler lorsqu'on sort les poubelles. Le sac est juste retenu par un simple anneau rectangulaire en plastique, que j'espère robuste mais j'en doute. J'évite à le retourner, à 220$ une poubelle on s'attend à mieux.

Horrible. Nothing worked, it overheated, there was no wire in the package i had to use one of my own and the customer service was horrible it looks like they sent me an old one that someone had already sent back. It looks like it been used and it’s broken
