used this for a handmade and personalized christmas advent calendar! loved the little drawer sizes. the wood does need to be sanded down quite a bit but the paint went on really smoothly after sanding.

The item arrives in a box that fits just the calendar with no room for padding or protection of any kind. That was concerning, however mine did arrive in good condition.I bought this at the very beginning of November and I have already finished it. It was such a fun project! I used about 6 or so different paint colors to achieve my desired look. I also added ribbon pull tabs to make opening the drawers a little easier.I probably should have sanded it before painting so it is rough in some areas, but not doing so hasn't impacted the finished project in anyway.

Fun projects for Christmas. Down side is the boxes are very tiny, it will not fit much in it. Maybe like like 2-3 Chocolate Kisses could fit in them.

I got this to make my friend a diy advent calendar, I stained the wood and customized it with bows. It turned out perfect 1000/10 recommend 💛

This worked out great. I have been a Nanny for 4 years and my time is up, so I needed something the kids could easily understand about when im leaving. I taped photos of us to the front and filled them with stickers. They love it. The boxes are not very big but they work (about 1.5in boxes). the wood smells fresh and it is put together well. Thanks

I needed a replacement advent calendar with larger treat pockets so thought one with drawers would work for my needs. I rushed through my buying process and only looked at the photos from happy reviewers. I made the mistake of not looking at the measurements from the vendor, but hopefully my photos will help others. I took away stars not because it was smaller than I expected (measurements are stated) but I believe way overpriced for what you get. The drawer on the right (pic 2) is from a wooden finished advent calendar from Michaels that was less expensive! For reference you can’t fit a mini candy cane but it will accommodate about 8 chocolate kisses.

This organizer was perfect for a companion Advent Calendar for the book I wrote for my family. The construction was perfect, none of the drawers had any glue issues, none of them stuck, even after applying mod poge to the drawer faces or stain to the entire thing.There is a good chance I will be asked to make more of these once my daughter starts showing off this Christmas gift, or especially after I post these pics on my AdventStory website. Fun fun!Could not be more pleased with this purchase. Perfect for small family advent calendars!

Smaller than it looks, even in the review pictures it looks bigger than it actually is lol but most of all you have to sand it. Comes ragged
