Here's the low-down. Only buy this if you've already confirmed that your bathroom ventilation fan/motor has the common electrical 2 prong plug. Some have a 3 pin molex connector. Some people will get inventive and cut and connect positive and neutral wires. For the average consumer, I wouldn't recommend that.This is a plug and play, 5 min install.Optional- my original fan was loud and growly when turned on - I replaced the old fan/motor first.If it's a 7.5in by 7.75in. ceiling cut, there's a high likelihood you have the common Braun fan installed, generally an original builders chioce. Nice thing is, these fans have been manufactured the same way for decades. My home is 34 years old, I went to Home Depot and found this model still available for a steal at a price of $16.Please see my pics. You can just pop out the old fan/motor assembly and put in the new. Then plug in this bluetooth cover. As you can see, my 30+ fan/motor was nappy as heck. But this couldnt have worked out better, as getting to this fan from the attic wouldn't have been something I'd have been comfortable doing. Good idea to look up there though... make sure you see your fan is vented through the roof. If it's isn't, or its venting into the attic, I'd have called someone to fix that as it will create mold, dampness, and who knows what other problems for you over time.The bluetooth speaker plays well over the sound of the fan. There are zero issues connecting a device to it. The reviews you read are just people that clearly don't understand how bluetooth pairing works. It is no different than any other bluetooth device.I read one review that said they had a friend visit who paired their phone to the bluetooth cover and didn't unpair it before leaving. All you'll need to do is turn off the fan once they leave and their device is out of range of your wi-fi signal. Also, you could unplug the bluetooth cover from the fan assembly and plug it back in to reset.There are no issues with pairing or unpairing the bluetooth fan cover. The only negative would be sound quality, but what do you expect, it's a speaker playing from your poop fan for under $100. I highly recommend it. Great update as we worked to refresh an outdated bathroom.

My girls loved playing music from this speaker. Time to setup was fast and easy, and the speaker was a nice volume.

A couple of issues but this light and speaker works as advertised.The fan that I installed this on was shallow and the outlet was recessed. Because of this I had to hard wire this light and speaker. The base of the plug was to large to fit into the recesses. Even if the plug fit into the recess it is a very tall plug to allow the fan to plug into the outlet on the plug. I just cut the plug off and hardwired it.Many other reviews commented on the sound volume and quality. The first time I used the speaker the volume was barely audible above the sound from the fan. Others have commented on the plastic over the speaker which I had removed. So at first I thought it wasn’t going to work, then I remembered that other Bluetooth speakers were much quieter since I purchased a new phone. I went into the sound settings on my phone and low and behold the volume settings on the headphones were set to less than half. After resetting the volume in the settings the volume was very good and audible over the fan.I won’t comment on the quality do to many years in the employ of Uncle Sam I now have hearing aids. When in the shower, obviously without my hearing aids, I can hear whatever is playing. Is the sound great, I’ll let someone who has good hearing comment on that.One other issue the spring slots, which hold the cover to the ceiling are offset by about half an inch so the cover sits a little crooked. This doesn’t bother me much since I put this up in a rental and I don’t spend a great deal of time starring at the ceiling.The light is great and the speaker works well.

i like the product but next time i need to purchase just the light and bluetooth since they are on the same circuit. The fan is loud and you can hear your music but you cant play for a long time

Had just a fan over our tub. Got this mostly for the light. But my son and wife both like to shower with music. So this seemed perfect. It couldn’t be easier to install. The light is very bright and works great for our needs. I am really happy that the speaker dose not automatically connect to the last phone it was connected to like regular speakers do. Makes it easy for everyone in the house to use the speaker if they wanted to. The speaker itself is a little thin sounding and distorted at anything over 3/4 volume and 1/2 volume for some songs all in all we are happy with it. If it had a slightly better speaker it would be a perfect product.

The fan is a bit loud and requires turning volume up a lot to hear over fan noise.

This Bluetooth bathroom fan and light works very well. Easy install and easy use with the Bluetooth. Definitely worth the money .

Super easy to install

Very much surprised how cool this option is. The lighting is awesome but of course, the music is muffled with the fan. We are currently looking for just the fan motor to fit ours but otherwise a great idea & love it. Great price

The media could not be loaded.  So much nicer then my old one . Simple to install. Great sound. Overall very happy 10/10
