Marc AnthonySimply Straight Shampoo 12.9 FL OZ

I have been using the Shampoo, "Frizz Away" Conditioner, and "Blow Straight" Potion for about a month now. I get my hair straightened once a year with Japanese straightening, so I am using these products to try to keep my hair as straight and smooth as possible in the humid Florida summer until my next straightening session in October. My hair is naturally very curly and wavy, as well as being very thin and frizzy in the humidity. These products do help keep it less frizzy and somewhat less curly/wavy; but even after I use my Straightening Iron on it, my hair gets more curly/wavy as the day wears on. If I go outside in the humidity, it doesn't immediately poof up into a big frizz ball like it used to, but it does get a bit more frizzy. The products are meeting my needs for now though. I gave it 4 stars because, though it isn't perfect: it is an easy product line to use, it's fairly inexpensive, and it does make my hair smoother and straighter than it would be without it.Oh, also I know a lot of people are put off by the strong minty smell of the products. I was too at first, but I guess I just got used to it because it doesn't bother me that much now. My hair doesn't smell minty after the shampoo and conditioner are rinsed out, and I don't think the Leave-in Potion has a strong smell.

As a guy I never really 'cared' about what shampoo I used, as long as it cleaned my hair. But one thing I hate about my hair is that it curls. So I decided to find a shampoo that would hopefully fix that problem.This shampoo has done it, no more curls. Not only that, but my hair looks a lot nicer and feels nicer compared to other shampoo's I've used. As for the smell... it don't bother me. But it may for some men. It reminds me of a bubblegum smell, but it's not at the same time. It's hard to explain really, you would have to smell it yourself.I will be buying this again when it runs out!

I recommend this (and the conditioner) if you have a slight wave in your hair, not curly. It will make your hair silky, less prone to frizz, and somewhat straighter - you will, however, get super-straight shiny hair if you use this (and the conditioner) in conjunction with a straightening iron or blowdryer. I think I was expecting a miracle shampoo - just wash, condition and "wha-la" super straight! (any such product out there?)

I agree with other people's reviews on this one. My hair looks beautiful and it really does the job. I ended up buying more products of this line. Finally a product that works.

Unlike other products that don't deliver results, this shampoo really works! You can feel and see the difference right away. It doesn't weigh your hair down, like other shampoos, and it leaves your hair soft. I highly recommend this to anyone who has problems with frizzy, thick hair. I'm hooked on this shampoo, and it's definitely worth the price. It saves you time with the straightening iron. Great product!
