When I first saw this, I was quite skeptical concerning its ability to track a person and do everything that it claims at such a good value...Happily, I discovered that it does indeed work, track, and do what I need, as well as more. The build quality is likely not as good as the ones that run hundreds more, and I would not want to accidentally drop this, it is high on functionality. It is quite light...much more so than I anticipated, but it works and that is most of the battle; in my eyes at least. The tracking works well for video conferencing and it is not dissimilar to how I imagine the Portal from FBook works. The tracking is great for the low MSRP. This thing works exactly like it's supposed to. The app can easily recognize a face and track it very well. The problem is with the tilt. First off, the mount is somewhat loose and flimsy, even with smaller phones like an iPhone 6,7,8 or SE2020. If you try to just sit the unit on a table, it's going to tip. You really need it to be screwed into a tripod mount. Second, while you can adjust the tilt, there's no way to lock that position in place. It completely relies on the preset amount of friction, and it's not enough. The phone just feels wobbly. All of those issues combine with the fact that there is no tilt-motor, so if you were say to have the unit track you, but then whatever you're tracking goes off the top or bottom of the view, it has no way to adjust the tilt to continue tracking higher or lower.Overall, take this into consideration because you have to plan whatever you're doing to only be at a single level in the vertical direction. It only tracks and moves horizontally.

This is a great product. It is exactly what I needed for shooting videos as well as taking pictures. I have been recording videos for different projects I have and this product has been a lifesaver. I don't need an extra person or walk around with my phone in my hand to record myself or have selfie photoshoots. The technology allows this device to follow your movement and record or take photos. This would be great for vlogging or creating content. It would also help with videocalls and videoconferencing. Great product! I highly recommend it.

I like to do a lot of remote training and was considering buying the 600 dollar item that tracks youre movement. Than like a bolt from up above I discovered this bad boy! At 560 less than the other competitor I gave it a whirl. Granted its built well it does somewhat feel not as robust. However its function easily outweighs any shortcomings from its build. Unit easily tracks me across a large area and about 30 feet away. Has worked flawlessly on a few training sessions and impressed a lot of my colleagues. I couldn't be happier for this cost and function!
