Great desk! Ordered the Mahogany and it looks like ...
Great desk! Ordered the Mahogany and it looks like a light espresso, dark cherry. But beautiful color in person. The shipping was extremely fast, ordered it Tuesday and got it the next day. You have to call the delivery arrangement number that was emailed to you after you make the purchase of this desk. The sooner you call, the sooner you can get this desk fast. I believe regardless of which size you order, a call has to be made to the trucking company to process your order immediately.PS- There is no scheduled delivery, you have to call the trucking company first and then they will confirm when the delivery will be processed and made. So make sure you are at home or a guardian or family member in your house at the time.-Shipment and Receiving-Like my statement above, the trucking company called ahead really early to confirm if I was present at the house, at the time of the delivery was made. The desk size I ordered was the 72 inch desk which was extremely huge in person, the delivery man and I had trouble getting the desk upstairs but he was freaking awesome and helpful.-Assembly and Instructions-WARNING: Two people are required to assemble this desk together. Happened to assemble this myself took like an hour because no one was home but knowing me, I was very excited and impatient to wait, so I was able to do it myself but because I did it myself I had to find a hard and tedious way to assemble this thing but happened to throw my back out as a sacrifice. Don't assemble this by yourself! The Instruction was really easy and straightforward. One page diaphragm instruction. All you really need is a screwdriver and you are all set.-Pros-+Really happy, lots of space for my gaming setup and for my keyboard and mouse. And also lots of space for my homework as well, which I wished for, for ages.+The lip in the back of the desk has a lot of space, I believe like 4 or 6 inches? You could put a triple monitor clamp in there if you wish to do so without any issue.+This 72 inch desk is enormous and it really gets the job done. I feel like I can put my triple monitors in and I could have more space!+The material of the desk is laminated wood but really doesn't feel like it all of the time as it's really sturdy. Oh yeah. It's really sturdy. Did I mention that?+ Price- I paid 180 dollars for this huge 72 inch desk with a fast free shipping, next day delivery. Are you Kidding me?? If you're looking to spend any money on a good desk, GO FOR THIS NOW!!!! I nearly spent 240 dollars for a desk that is only a 60 inch desk and the depth is like 24 inches which is unreasonably expensive and this desk is like 36 inches of depth which leaves lots of room for my arm!!! For 180 dollars!!! Best experience for your dollar.-Cons--Upon my research before I bought this desk I was aware that the privacy panel was covered up, restricting access to any backside for outlet portsand whatnot. And It is confirmed. Only problem is that I have to bring my 6ft power surge protector so my power cords could reach further.-There are two access holes for your cords in each side of the desk, but only in front of the privacy panel, not the back.-No drawers, you have to buy it separately-This desk might have to be disassembled if I have to move.-Result Overall-Despite of the privacy panel completely blocked, it really does a good job hiding the cords, benefiting more of the appearance of the desk looking professional and brand spanking gorgeous! If you want to have more space to game while doing homework or watching a movie while game and paying the bills and doing homework, this desk is definitely the tool for you! Gets the job done while leaving you satisfied and more room to smile!

100% as expected
Great desk, exactly what I expected -- which was a sturdy, large, office-quality desk with no frills.Desk surface is edged with some kind of plastic like you find in office cubicles. It feels like it's not going to be damaged anytime soon. The surface is some kind of matte laminate, on top of a dense particle board. Again, like you find in offices.I measured the length and it is actually 71". Doesn't seem like a big deal to me. You probably want the extra inch for clearance anyway if you're fitting it somewhere tight. This thing is HEAVY. 150 lbs, and the desk panel alone probably weighs 70 pounds if not more (a wild guesstimate).Do as another reviewer said and flip the desk right side up before putting the top panel on. Just be careful not to move the joints of the I shaped piece as you flip it, since it does not have the structural support of the top panel yet. If you can get a second person to help you for the last step, the better (although I did it alone). The instructions are clear and simple. The plastic bottoms on the feet of the desk left some black residue on the carpet, as I dragged the desk into place (again, it's heavy). Probably disintegrated as the friction heated up. No big deal, looks like it will vacuum out.if you're putting a computer on this desk, mind the length of your monitor, keyboard, and speaker cables, etc. -- this thing is so long, it is straining the lengths of my cables. There are some nice grommets for cable routing. The grommets lead to the side of the desk where your legs are (not behind the "modesty panel"). Seems obvious, but I confirmed it. There's one grommet on each side. There aren't any other holes for cable routing, so if you do route cables underneath the desk (i.e.: power), you'll have to run them out the front of the desk, curving along the sides to whatever power outlet is near. Seems like a design oversight, but whatever. You could probably drill your own small holes if needed. This desk doesn't come with drawers (like one of the pictures shows) in case you are wondering. However there are plenty of spare screw holes if you do decide to get the drawers, so seems like they will attach easily.
