Excellent function and design but the lock comes out of the holder very easily so watch out ! The first time I used it I arrived at my destination with no lock, luckily, I backtracked and someone had left the lock on the top of a wall. I had picked the bike up to walk up some stairs and it just came out. If not for that I would have given it 5 stars

I like this lock a lot better than the low end Kryptonite Keeper. That lock is a nightmare. But let it be known that this is a 11mm U-bolt, not 15mm. 15mm is measured over the PVC coating over the steel. Kind of misleading.This U-lock is more secure than a cable lock, but it definitely isn't a heavy duty U-lock and probably is the least strong of any of them (guess).But I think this is a great 2nd lock to use to lock the wheel to the frame instead of a cable as it's fairly lightweight.I definitely wouldn't want to leave my bike overnight in a risky area with this lock though. It's not burly enough.But for the price and weight and dual locking mechanism, I think it is a pretty good choice for a casual non-critical U-lock.

Works nicely and feels secure! I wonder if another person with the same key might be able to open it though! The key seems to have a single shape.If this is not the case, please tell me and I will update my feedback!

I bought this lock because I needed a deeper throat to fit around many bike racks and posts. Compared to more expensive U-Locks that are much thicker and better designed this won't stand up to serious bike thieves. BUT -- for the leisurely ride and lock up with lots of people around, it's great. I just wouldn't depend on it all day or overnight in a questionable area. It does the job I wanted it to and the price did not break the bank.

Gave 4 stars because I still have a cute pink beach cruiser. Is a little loose after you lock it. That's only reason why I didn't give 5 star

I don't have any issues with the strength or durability of this lock only to say that it seems strong and sturdy for its purpose. The real issue I have my just be the lock that was delivered to my residence. For some reason my husband and I are having trouble locking it with both key. No matter how many times we try to turn it in the right direction it just doesn't lock properly. After aligning it just right and a few tough thrusts it locks, but that happens only a handful of times and after much effort. My husband doesn't feel like returning it because of the hassle and he desperately needs a bike lock, but I foresee a lot of stress by keeping this lock. I had confidence in all the good reviews, but I wouldn't really recommend it to a friend. Like I first stated its strong, but with our specific lock its a hassle to successfully use it.Another reason for disappointed is its floppy and lose attachment to its holder. Even when simply moving the bike without much speed it seems very lose and that is could detach any moment.

Really sturdy, high quality bike lock. I leave my bike outside and the lock has been through some tough conditions and is still working excellently. The key seems pretty high quality and I'm not ever scared that it's going to break unlike a previous U-Lock. It's a little tricky at first to get used to locking and unlocking the lock but once you do it a few times you get the hang of it and it's very quick and easy!

Pros: The lock is pretty and I like the plastic tab that flips down to protect the lock. The red color is nice and the rubber grip feels good.Cons: Downside is that thieves cut the u-lock with bolt cutters after 7 days of use. I still have the lock (now in 3 convenient pieces!), but not the bike.The plastic part to attach to the bike while biking only has one screw, so it wobbles while biking despite being screwed in fully.The lock is difficult to lock and unlock because the plastic housing is loose on the lock barrel. I discovered during my last 2 days of ownership that if you push the lock barrel while unlocking/locking, it is easier to accomplish. This is no longer a problem for me because someone else has taken my bicycle. There are many 5 star reviews of this product, which is why I purchased it, but I think all those are paid reviews.
