Very poor quality. As photos show the blocks provided do a very poor job of supporting the structure you are building. The thought behind the product design is ineffective at best. Shortcuts were used in all cases to cheapen the strength and usability of this product. The instruction booklet tried to look like a "Lego" brand product but were completely ineffective and made no sense in the way you would actually do the build. We had missing parts and parts that broke when trying to place them as shown in the instructions. The worse offensive was a roof structure that was unsupported and we had to try and make a support out of parts that were left over. In some cases parts were "replaced" with supposedly like parts (the tree for one example) making it nothing like the picture had shown. Decals on a block weren't there, etc. After my husband and I did manage to put together something near to the final product it wasn't suitable for a child to play with. The parts kept falling apart with every attempt at play. Do not waste your money on this product.

This is the best building blocks set I've bought. It is compatible and had a similar quality as the Lego duplo set I had, but at a much lower price. I got this one when there was a discount, so the final price was less than 40. My 2 daughters, 4 and 6 year old, would spend hours after hours playing with this set peacefully, which is very important when you are working full time at home. Highly recommended. Don't miss out this great toy!

This seems like a great set of blocks at a good price point. But ITS NOT WORTH IT! As someone else mentioned, the blocks are cheap and don’t hold themselves up. The people don’t fit in the Ferris wheel. We have 30 extra blocks yet are missing another 20. The directions are terrible - the pieces are not the same color as what’s show in the directions. The decals are non existent. Do yourself a favor, and just spend the money for real legos!

First of all, and most importantly, these fit together perfectly with our collection of Duplo blocks. As we were specifically bulking up my son's Duplo set in order to make bigger projects, that was great! I also love that the set comes with base plates. It also has a lot of interesting items (like the windmill) you can make out of the blocks that I have never seen before.All that being said, the blocks are a bit flimsier than Duplo. Some of the larger pieces feel like they might snap if you pushed too hard fitting them down, or if you stepped on them they might crack. If you step on a Duplo, it's your foot that has the problem, not the block. Our box was missing some of the pieces required to make the playset that is pictured, and we had to use our Duplo's to get it finished. We were also missing some pieces to make things like the furniture, so we couldn't make a couple of those items at all. Finally, the playset looks neat in the picture, but once it's together it is not really for playing with. It doesn't have much support holding it together, so once it was being used to play with the lego characters, it just starts to fall apart.All in all, it was fine to bulk up our son's Duplo blocks for him to play with (at least on the sale price we got). But once this set is put together as pictured, kids can't really play with it without it falling apart. So it just ends up frustrating my son, (and me, when I constantly have to put it back together). For the regular price of this set, we would probably just buy some used Duplo's next time.

From looking at the pictures posted by other reviewers it appears there are 2 different versions of this product. I, unfortunately, received the cheaply made version that is missing several pieces. I did not receive the tree trunk or the correct yellow roof support pieces. I received 2 smaller triangle pieces that only hold up one side of the roof ( basically one roof support cut in half). The decal is also missing from the Oil block. Several of the pieces have the black grease on them like other reviewers mentioned, and there were several small shards of broken plastic mixed in with the other pieces. I didn't expect this set to be the same quality as the name brand, but I at least expected to receive what is pictured in the item description. The actual brick pieces don't hold together at all, either. I wish I had inspected this set thoroughly before giving it to my son for Christmas. I would have returned it immediately.

Purchased for my 3 year old for Christmas. He was excited to play, but the instruction booklet was awful and difficult for myself and my husband to follow as it gives one sided viewpoint on a tiny picture with like colored pieces. The pieces did not match the photos. Some were missing and some were broken. There were long brown hairs on many of the pieces (fine, they could have been used, but I didn’t pay for the used version). When we finally were able to assemble something close to the picture on the box, but the structure was weak and they would fall apart within seconds. It’s not worth the time to put the pieces together let alone playing with the broken parts. Very disappointed.

These building blocks are soft, the directions are small and hard to read, the colors and the way the pieces look don’t match the directions. It’s just awful if you are trying to build by the directions. The fence is shown as curved, there are no curved sections. The box shows a train with a yellow heart window, the box contains a red flower window. The doors don’t look like the directions and are a different height compared to the directions so we had to add extra bricks. The tree trunk isn’t there, we think we are to use a column instead. Pieces are wrong sizes and some are missing. It’s just stupid!

Wonderful set for little ones. My little ones (3&5) year olds loves them. Can't tell the difference between Lego brand and this. Good quality. Lots of fun pieces ( slides, ferris wheel, cars, the roads , trees, doors & windows etc.. ) they did a good job on this toy. I would definitely recommend to anyone. Great deal for the price.
