Much sturdier than slightly cheaper ones
The legs don't have much play in them, so the vibrations due to setup dampen out rapidly. The best feature is the mobile phone clamp, which isn't like the stupid ones that have a little silver metal clamp that grabs your phone, only to lose grip and send the phone flying. The clamp also has a generous height allowance which can accommodate thick cases, so you can keep the phone case on in case anything goes wrong. I fully submerged it in fresh water for 15 minutes with no visible damage after shaking off the water.I couldn't figure out how to use the remote with my Android phone, but I don't care because it's easier just to use the phone's shot timer in order to allow the vibrations to settle out before the photo or video commences.I went through a few of the cheaper wobbly tripods before finding this one. Every one of them fell apart after several weeks of use.I normally don't give 5-star reviews because I generally find them to be paid BS, but in this case, it's warranted.

Great buy and easy to set up!
I have always wanted a tripod for my phone. I would consistently find myself needing to take a group photo, especially at holidays, and a selfie stick just wasn’t going to cut it. This handy tripod is great for my family! It extends to 51” high if needed, allows for horizontal and vertical shots easily, and it actually sits level on the ground. I was also pleasantly surprised to see that the remote came ready with a battery. The instructions are easy to follow and the nylon pouch it came in can go over your shoulder. I think it’s a great buy.

This product works just fine (not well, but fine) for very basic applications. The tripod is extremely flimsy and made very cheaply. It weighs virtually nothing. A breeze could knock it over. All the parts are extremely small, clearly meant for phone-only applications. One, could, technically attach something else to it (DSLR, or something), but it would not be safe. Remote control works, max of perhaps 15 yards away? Not a great range.Pros:-Will hold an iPhone, indoors, on level surfaces when little range of motion is required.-Remote control will work when using the tripod/phone within 15 yards of the tripod.Cons:-Flimsy.-Rather short compared to traditional tripods.-Cheaply made attachments.-Very light, not suitable for most outdoor applications.-Remote control does not work at a significant distance for long shots.Would recommend only for the most basic of applications with smaller devices; but even then, I would be cautious as it's usability is significantly hindered by its construction.

Disappointed
This product was so lacking and disappointing...I felt that I needed to give my first review, so other Amazon customers to look for a different product. There were not any assembly instructions. Only a parts list, in several languages. The product was definitely not stable. Even with all bolts, knobs and screws tightened....for positioning, my camera still rotated out of position. Maybe this one product was just defective....but assembly instructions should have certainly been included in the box.

Decent cheap tripod, carrying bag was ripped when received.
Overall I've used it a few times since I bought it, and I can say a few things about it.It feels flimsy - and probably is - but so long as you're not throwing it or beating it up too hard I can't imagine it breaking on you. It's very light which makes carrying it with a lot of gear easy, and it includes a carrying bag that you can throw over your shoulder or something if you want. Remote control is finnicky as are most bluetooth technologies, but it works sometimes. You might be better off just setting a timer on the phone camera if possible. It's surprisingly sturdy even when a bit windy, so that's a plus. And the level built into the swivel is very nice too.My only real gripe is that the seam of the carrying bag was torn when I received the tripod - about a 2-inch rip down the side. It's not unusable, but it is a little annoying that it ripped before I even got it.Overall a decent enough tripod for the money, just don't expect a miracle.

Feels Cheap, But Is Light Weight And Quite Sturdy
Its not terrible for the price. That being said, the one thing i dont like is how flimsy the extensions feel before you lock them in place. Once they lock, its actually quite sturdy. Its also pretty light weight so it makes a good tripod for my backpacking trips.

Awesome! So worth it with Covid travels!
Ordered this for a trip to Shenandoah National Park. This was one of the best purchases! With Covid no one wants to take your photo so it’s so efficient to have this tripod! Totally easy to use and not bulky at all! We hiked with it in our bags!

This is a cheap product the remote works with my camera using Bluetooth but if I have the remote turned on and connected with my phone I'm unable to use my texting system for some reason it interrupts that. The tripod is pretty cheap.
