Dual-Screw Type Right Angle Banana Plugs

First this review is of my positive experience it’s not meant to argue or put down someone’s negative experience. I was a little skeptical about these based on a couple of the negative reviews, but figured if they’re junk I’ll return them. I’m very happy I bought these. I am a retired audio engineer and have worked with pretty much any cable or connectors made. Price, these are $1.12 each before tax I saw them from as low as .85ea in bulk to stupid expensive. The ones I received are very well made I tried to pull them apart and couldn’t. I installed these on Monster 12 gauge speaker wire and they fit perfect. One review stated caution on heavier than 14g but these easily handled the 10g I tested just to see. Bear in mind the wire gauge is always the same but the insulation thickness can vary depending on the manufacturer. The insulating sleeve just barely went over the wire insulation as the Monster wire has really thick insulation, had to put a little dish soap to get it to slide on. Yes the insulating sleeves are hard to get off the connectors if you pull on them, if you push them off with your thumb nail they slide right off. The set screws seem to hold well, if you’re worried they may loosen over time put a tiny bit of Tightlock or silicone adhesive on the threads it will hold it tight but you can still unscrew it with a screwdriver if need be. I would purchase these again if needed and would recommend them to anyone needing a few, if you need a lot I’d look for the bulk packages. Aloha

These banana plugs are the ones I've been searching for for years. They have a outstanding build quality and heft. I replaced the old Radio Shack banana plugs which were of cheap quality to begin with but VCELINK Plugs that are epic. The icing on the cake is that they are gold plated and have Two Set Screws - No Soldering! Well Done!!

I bought these right angle banana plug connectors to replace the standard straight in plugs I had used for my home stereo connection. The Vcelink product looks gold-plated and they worked well, providing the sought after strain relief. The mounting tube accepts the bare wire and the connection is secured by two flush mount screws that are quite small - you will need a jewelers screwdriver to torque them down. Once secured, you pull the plastic boot up and over and you are good to plug in and go. These Vcelink plugs accepted my 14 gauge speaker wire quite easily. The plug in effort took a little more force than I anticipated but they snapped in quite snug. I would only caution against using these plugs with wire heavier than 14. I had no issue with shorting or inadvertent contact.

I just got a new TV and a new 5.1 speaker system so had to revive an old amplifier/tuner. They all use banana terminals which are a real nuisance if you have to screw in the end of a wire. So crowded and tight and not all that secure feeling. Since I had to attach and detach so many wires, I went ahead and bought these. The important features are 1 or 2 set screws, straight or right-angle, and plastic cover (or heat shrink) or not. I thought the right angle seemed a good idea and these were well-priced and seemed sturdy. I installed a few last night and the right angle isn't all that important if you have enough space in the back and they can angle into each other. But I'm happy the the item and would buy more for similar need.

I like that there are two set screws to ensure wire is attached correctly. No issues with signal drop outs or degradation of sound quality. Would recommend if needing a secure solution for a receiver that might be a little older or in a spot where speaker wire may be tough to attach directly. Quite a bit simpler to just plug these in and know that the connection is secure and locked in!

These are nice and heavy-duty, and are very easy to hook up to any wire using a small flat screwdriver - you insert the wire a fair length into the end and then tighten both of the screws - one near the end and another closer to the plug. It will take a pretty heavy gauge wire and seems it could handle quite a bit of current.

Excellent quality (gold plate and double screws to secure wire), but too narrow to accommodate the two 12 AWG wires i needed twisted together to fit into one plug.. This was the amplifier end of a bi-wired speaker system. The plugs would have been perfect to accept a single 10 or 12 AWG wire.

Easy to attach; double screws on each plug ensure secure cable fixing into the plug. I now have these connecting a Topping amp with quite small binding posts to some Wharfedale speakers. The insulation sleeves prevent any nasty shorts from occurring. Well packaged in vcelink branded packaging.

These banana plugs are great. I used them for all speakers to reduce stress on speaker terminals and save space. Paired with InstallGear 14 Gauge AWG Oxygen-Free Speaker Wire with zero issues. There was enough space to easily take proper-sized 12 Gauge wire. Banana plug fit is snug, I had zero issues connecting them the first time and disconnecting from speakers several times during installation. For those who are using banana plugs for the first time don't panic - they ARE supposed to go tight for the first time since you are slightly compressing the ribs for a precise match with speaker/wall terminals. Measured electric resistance and it's extremely low comparable to solid copper connectors. No issues with conductivity. I installed a total of 18 of these plugs for my setup and had absolutely no issues with screws or assembly. It's NOT EASY to slide plastic sleeves off if you are pulling them directly - slide them off in a circular motion instead while pulling metal assembly out.

質感等は価格なり。 実際の使用では特に問題なしです。ケーブル固定ネジ、バナナの止まり具合も上々。 L形は絶縁カバーあった方が安心。ケーブル根元の保護としてもいい感じになります。 リピートしたいと思います。
