Pretty Flower Postcards Paperback – November 1, 2015

Get these. Just get them. They are so cute, the paper quality is amazing (alcohol markers do not bleed through) and they are priced very well. Perfect for those days when you want to get some color down, but dont really want to tackle a full on page. Just get them and thank me later. The artist also has 2 other postcard books that are equally as beautiful.

The media could not be loaded.    This is my second set of coloring book postcards by this artist. The first one is “Pretty Pattern Postcards” and I was so impressed by that book, I had to buy this one as soon as I saw it was available. I am a gardener and I love to color flowers, especially during the more “barren” months of the year. I get to color the flowers that I imagine I will have in my garden later in the year or make up colors of flowers that simply don't exist I nature.I am very impressed with this artist's style and with the publishing quality of these books. I really hope she continues with this style of book and maybe some larger format ones, too, that are for adults versus what seems to be her coloring books for young girls.The designs are, in fact, pre-set up for use as postcards with areas for shipping address, writing area, and stamp on the reverse side of each card. There are even cute little designs on that side as well which you can color with a lick of ink/pencil. The size of the book (and pages) is 7.75 x 4.75 inches. The size makes it perfect to carry in a purse or satchel.The designs are printed on one side of heavyweight, frame-able card stock that has a glued edge that makes removal from the book as simple as can be. All you have to do is carefully pull the design away from the edge and it is ready for mailing or framing as you choose. I could easily get this book to lay fairly flat but you can always remove pages for coloring if you wish to do so, too.The paper used in these postcard books is probably the best paper I have in any of my coloring books, etc. The only thing that bled through these pages were my Copic and Prismacolor alcohol-based markers and those bleed through everything. My Sharpies, both fine and ultra-fine did NOT bleed through and I checked neon, dark, and bright colors as well. None of my water-based marker did either. My gel pens worked great but needed a little more drying time as the ink apparently sat on the surface of this great paper and did not sink into it. My coloring pencils worked fantastic.

I bought this for my mother who has dementia and has taken up coloring in a big way. She likes the small size of the drawings, and that they are bound in a cute little book. She filled this up in no time. I'm having fun tearing out the pages and sending them to people. "Look what my mother drew!" is my new refrain. They're also fun to stick up on the fridge or the cubicle wall. If my coworkers can post their toddler's art, I can post my mother's art! :)

I received a small package of Thank You Cards as a birthday gift, and I liked it so much, I purchased this book of postcards and have colored about half of the cards. They are not too complicated and the gel pens I used came out really nice. I will send them to friends just to say "hi" or will use them as birthday cards too. I have really enjoyed coloring them & would purchase additional postcard books from this author. The other thing I like about them is they do not take too long to complete and move on to something new to do.

Nice thick card stock, easy to color/paint and so very pretty! I’ve used Inktense, water based markers, alcohol markers, pan pastels, acrylic paint pens and some colored pencil. Everything I used on these has gone on easily and looked beautiful. I seal them with clear acrylic spray for mailing. Even if you don’t intend to send them, they make a cute portable book to carry with you for on the go coloring.

I love these! My mom and I have been coloring for awhile now but we were at a loss as to what to do with the pictures once they were done. We hated to throw them away after spending so much time on them, but what do you do with them? These postcards are the perfect solution! Color them and send them out to brighten someone's day! :) I can't wait to get one colored so I can send it out!

I really didn't buy these to use as postcards, but just to have something easy to carry with me and also something that could be finished in a short time. However, these are absolutely too beautiful not to share by sending to someone! Very, very nice thick card stock. I've used my Stabilo pens, my Staedtlers, Bic Mark Its and Sharpies and not any of them bled through. Some are very detailed, so the ultra fine point pens are a must.

These are actual post cards with address lines and stamp outline on the back. They are slightly larger than the average postcard and made of thicker card stock. Unlike other coloring postcards, these designs are not quite as tiny. They are still small (they're postcard images, after all) but the areas to color are not as small as some other brands like Lost Ocean. The pictures are all beautiful and good for generic use.

This is a nice combination of detail without being crazy to get your pen into. I love that you can send thema s postcards after instead of just having them sit around :)

I cannot wait to colour in and send to family and friends. But I will also hang some up in my home.

Love these pretty postcards, I enjoy colouring and this book is just the right size and it doesn’t take forever to colour one in, the only problem is, choosing which one to do next! also, I probably won’t send any, as want to keep them all.
