Is there a adapter to use these bits with a normal 4mm? With the 6 grooves it just spins.

I'm a pro computer tech. I've had many tools wear out after a couple days worth of work,which begins to strip screws. How durable are they?

He said he doesnt think they are made out of "Tool steel", not to imply that they arent metal.
Tool steel is usually something like O2, D2, A2
Tools Steels are SPECIFIC types of steel

D2 tool steel is an air-hardening, high carbon, high chromium tool steel with extremely high wear resisting properties. D2 is commonly used in long production, cold work applications, high wear applications and it is very popular as a knife blade steel. 
O1 Tool Steel is a general purpose oil-hardening tool and die steel
O2 tool steel is an oil hardening tool steel which is supplied in the annealed condition and characterized by its characteristics of offering good durability.  02 steel is a good quality general purpose tool steel often used where the expense of a high carbon high chromium tool steel would not be justified.
A2 air-hardening, medium-alloy, cold-work tool steels are a type of group A steels containing molybdenum and chromium. The carbon content in A2 tool steels is high. A2 tool steels can be deep hardened in order to minimize distortion.

Different grades of tool steel have different characteristics depending on what kind of tools they are being used for.

The pieces are magnetic?

Yes, they are definitely magnetic. They have the perfect amount of magnetism: not overly strong, not too weak. Bought mine in May 2016.

What is the size of the hex end?  Is it a standard 1/4 inch?

I do not have one yet but from looking at the drawling...
The HEX side of the bit looks twice the size of the shaft which is 2.5mm & looks about half the size of the holder that is 7.5mm so this part looks to be 4MM which is listed as the "Head Size". If you move up the tool you see another HEX which holds the "Head" holder. This piece looks slightly smaller then the 7.5mm so it would be a safe guess that this is the standard 1/4" tool size.
