I bought the Bolt Goods containers based on good reviews and the advertising that stated these containers were made in the USA.From their product description: "Engineered in partnership with a leading Commercial Food Grade plastic manufacturer. Made in USA."The containers I received from Bolt Goods clearly state they are made in Canada. See the picture that I uploaded with this review. Bolt Goods is blatantly lying about the containers being made in the USA. Furthermore, their "partnership with a leading Commerical Food Grade plastic manufacturer" is nothing more than Bolt Goods purchasing these containers in bulk from Lung Sang Canada, marking up the price 450%, and repackaging/reselling these containers to us.Google Lung Sang Canada and you can buy 150 of these containers for about $40, which works out to 25 cents per container. They are selling us 8 containers for $13, which works out to $1.62 per container.As to the product itself: these containers are nothing more than the same containers you get from a Chinese take out place.Don't make the same mistake I did - I'll keep looking elsewhere for quality meal prep containers.

I had previously bought 4 sets of these meal prep boxes and loved them (still do love them!). When my work schedule changed, I realized I would need another set of boxes. I ordered a new set and initially was disappointed that Bolt had changed manufacturers because the new boxes have a slightly different shape. I'm a meal prepper, so of course I want everything to stack nice and neat. I emailed Bolt Goods and they immediately sent me one of their old sets of boxes, completely free! When it arrived I realized they had sent it air mail from Canada (I'm in the US), so I know that wasn't cheap! I have been nothing but incredibly impressed by the quality of Bolt Goods products as well as their customer service. Just buy them already!!

These are so awesome!! With the holidays around, these will especially come in handy. No need to use a cheap product from the grocery store that will not last long at all. They are much better than any similar brands and I highly suggest them. I have used them to take my lunch with me at work. It saves me money from having to eat out during my lunch break because I can bring something from home and just pop it in the microwave. I have also packed my son's lunch in them! I had high hopes for these containers, I really did. Their lids fit correctly and snugly, they are ample size for meal-prep, they microwave well without warping, etc.The problem I've found is that they break in obscure places. I had a beef stew in one of these containers and, unknowingly to me, the container developed a crack in the bottom. I was forced to throw out the bag since I couldn't get rid of the smell (was unable to wash the bag without destroying it or my washer). This was not the only container that it happened to.Perhaps I got a faulty set, perhaps there was a manufacturing default. Either way, it might be in your best interest to buy thicker "Snap-wear" containers.

One of the first thing i look for in a container, any plastic item, Is it BPA free. These containers are. These containers are durable. Like that they have a clear top to see what I have stored. They have gone through my dishwasher and came out in same shape they went in. Been in microwave came out same shape. I can hear and feel when the lid seals tight. I love how these are stackable. I really like these containers - for the price you get a lot of high quality containers that are made really well and are sturdy! As a student and Doctor in training I have to pack a lunch everyday to take to work at the Hospital and I really like how roomy these containers are! You can fit a surprising amount in them and they close very tightly so even when I am banging it around in my bag there is no spillage or cracking. With some other cheaply made containers there is often spillage and no one wants a laptop covered in food. They are also microwave safe so you don't have to be concerned about eating cold food. I would highly recommend this product to any student or professional who wants a good high quality storage container that won't crack or chip and you're also not paying an arm and a leg.

Not what I expected. Very light weight. Would be good for give away take home food for visitors. I had to trim the flash off each dish which should have been caught in the inspection process.

Love them! I didn't use them when u first bought them since I was a little intimidated by meal prep. However, now that I've been prepping, these are so worth the purchase! They really help control portions, as well, which I find important.
