HalexSelect Badminton Set with Deluxe Carry Bag

My husband and I bought this set a month ago as a an activity for our family "activity night." We shopped around a long time before deciding on this set, including in stores as well as online. It arrived quickly and we set it up the next day. Everything conveniently came in a travel bag. The net was easy to set up and is quite sturdy (we haven't taken it down since we've got it and it has survived a few windstorms just fine). It has strong nylon tension ropes that support the main poles that you hammer into the ground and are adjustable to make either tighter or loser once in the ground. We have also used the net to play volleyball as well. The 4 rackets themselves are very durable and are made very well - the birdie hasn't once got stuck in between the top part of the racket. It also comes with 3 standard birdies.All in all, we are very happy with our purchase. We didn't need anything fancy, just a standard badminton set and that is what this is. We are going to enjoy this for many years to come!

I bought this set for the kids to play in my backyard.The price is good but the quality is average or lower.The birdies are cheap plastic and would come right through/in the string of the rackets.The rackets are very flimsy; the black plastic wraps are so thin it come right off after a few plays.The kids did have a good time with it, though but I think after one summer it will go into the recycle bin.Save your money and buy a better quality set, if you want something to last.

Little difficult to put up the first time. Will probably be easier the next time around. The rackets are shorter than the average racket. The birdies were cheap....but worked. For a backyard set to use on occasions, it will work just fine.

Discovered that the racquets are about 2” shorter than standard racquets. Better suited for children, but not advertised that way.Quality is decent.

The set you get is different than the pics. I previously owned the set with the blue bag but the set that comes has smaller diameter poles than the set in the pics. But it still works.

This product is not well made. In other words, it does not live up to its marketing. First off, a zipper tab on the carry bag broke off on first use. The net, poles, and accompanying strings worked OK to set up. The rackets were not very strong and after one day of play [by young people], two of them began to bend. To top it off, in the next week, we saw a better-made badminton set for sale at Menard's for 2/3 the price. Ouch! Caveat emptor!

I was warned by others about the poles, but the racquets and the shuttlecocks are cheap too. They get stuck it the racquets and stop the game. It is still fun having the set, but really just buy a more expensive one. You won't regret it.

Great fun. Product is still in great condition after a summer of fun with many kids. Easy to set up and install. All materials are weather proof and have withstood the heat and rain. Great great item.
