Very cute and well made and the seller was prompt with delivery

Made a great gift for 5 year old who loves nature.
It is made of real wood but is still light weight. I purchased an extra 2 suction cups (1 to hook lanyard on & 2nd to go under the birdhouse) to make sure the birdhouse will not fall. Granddaughter is 5 & wants to watch the birds & their babies in the nest.

Good sturdy bird house.
Little bit bigger than I expected it to be, very sturdy and the back panel has 2 protective films front and back to remove to be able to watch the birds from inside the window with a small swivel latch to keep it in place. Small chip on the top about an inch splinter came off on mine but, wood is wood, happens. Comes with 2 suction cups and a hook and the rope for a variety of different hanging options. All in all we're excited to see the baby birds in a safer home than outdoor vent.

Spinning birds
Cute concept, but this doesn’t work if you have it hanging from a string. All it does is spin with a little bit of wind. I should have thought about that before I bought. Maybe I can attach it to a tree, but that defeats the purpose of being able to see through it. I’m also not sure the suction cup is sturdy enough to attach to a window. I would feel bad if it dropped with a nest in it like others are saying has happened to them.

Good
Stuck to my window with a little water on the suction cup thing, sadly no bird moved in but some bees did so that's a plus

I thought this was the answer but I was wrong
The suction cups worked great for the 3 weeks it was up. I even used the rope loop to add a backup in case the suction failed. Unfortunately the birdhouse broke apart leaving the suction cups and rope loop securely attached to the window. But the bottom half of the house fell to the ground. We had new tenants with eggs but they hadn’t hatched yet. Must have been a wild ride for the mother but since there were no carcasses I assume the parents lived to find a more sturdy nest. My first window birdhouse was just the cheap plastic version but it lasted 6 years on just the suction cups. This year it fell off at the start of spring and I was eager to get a replacement that was more secure. With both suction cups and a rope backup I figured this would be the answer. But I was wrong. I’m just thankful that there wasn’t a nest full of babies in the nest when the house broke apart. I suppose it was a combination of temperature swings and rain that made the glue and nails lose their hold. If I do another window birdhouse I’ll add screws and other bracing hardware to the house.

Bird house
It was supposed to be a one way glass so the bird won’t see us, but is not. I had to camouflage the glass but so far no takers!
