Test cake and meats

As a cook in a high end restaurant kitchen, I have one of these cake testers on my person at all times. It's essential for checking temperature or doneness of proteins as they cook, among other tasks. These Ateco brand testers seem to be the industry standard, they're not especially sturdy or substantial but do what they need to do, and the probe is thin enough that it doesn't leave visible holes in the dish. This multi pack means I'll never be without one, and it's great value for the price!

The only cake testers I will ever use! I was first introduced to them as a culinary student at the Culinary Institute of America and will never not need these in my hose!

Good for piercing potatoes before baking. Could be a bit heftier but work. Couldn't find in stores

This cake tester is easy to hold with the plastic piece on the end. Much nicer to use than a toothpick to test baked goods.

I love this to see the doneness of everything. I bough one at first, but it got lost. so this time I ended up buying six pack. trust me once you have them, you van't live without them.

My husband is a chef so naturally goes through these cake testers [doneness of meat] a lot. These work fantastic and last a long time. Naturally if they accidentally go through a washing machine [left in pockets], they bend easily, but with natural use, they last a long time so a package of 6 will last you awhile.

The product came from US. Very nice. Highly recommended.
