Solid, inexpensive knife
If you're looking for the best inexpensive carbon steel blade with a high-viz handle.... look no further. I've owned my first one for nearly a decade. Takes heavy use and abuse. I've bought many as back ups and gifts.Takes an edge quick. Single bevel is a nice feature that is uncommon. The sheath is not so good, I keep the knife in the sheath in a thigh pocket

Best $12 knife I ever bought
Best $12 knife I ever bought. It aint gonna win any beauty contests but as a task knife it works awesome. Its great for camping and fishing. it has a thin profile scandi-grind blade which is great for cleaning and filleting fish and performing routine tasks at the campsite. It has a bright orange handle to make it easy to find if dropped in the brush. The sheath is kinda big and clunky and made of plastic, but the one plus is that it can be connected to the belt without having to remove the belt. The sheath could be better but its a $12 knife so really nothing to complain about. As if the Mora Knives weren't al;ready an outstanding great deal, this line of knives is almost as good and even more affordable.

Worth every cent!
Any Scandinavian knife is a great tool and this Hultafors is no exception. It's worth every cent of its low cost. The plastic sheath has a rather clumsy belt-carry design (better suited for the Norse button-carry method), but it shouldn't be a real problem. The handle is a hard plastic, but comfortable, with a better finger guard than a Mora, but lacking the high-friction handle material on a Mora--still, it doesn't slip around in your hand (at least when dry--don't know about when its wet). To reemphasize, a bargain in the world of knives.

I like the handle on this Hultafors a little better
I am a Mora fan and carry a Mora craftline everyday for work. I swear by those Moras. However, I like the handle on this Hultafors a little better. The Scandi grind is a little less steep than the Mora craftline. This is a very good knife, especially for the dough you put down for it. Super high value. I don't think you can go wrong, buying one of these utility knives.

Knife is fine. Sheath is worthless...
The knife is fine. It is sharp and the feel is comfortable. However, I also have a Mora Pro Robust and it is also very sharp and comfortable. The Mora blade is also finished with a polished surface that I feel will help shed water better. The difference is in the sheath. They are both plastic, and inexpensive. But, while the Mora sheath is functional as a belt holder, the Hultafors sheath is not made to fit a belt. Rather, it is meant to function with a button system which I could not find online anywhere. If I want the Hultafors to fit on my belt, I will need to buy a sheath that will cost as much, or more than the knife itself. Any money I saved buying this product is out the window when buying the additional sheath. I think the Mora Companion is probably a better choice given this issue. It is currently only $11.99 on Amazon. Four bucks cheaper than the Hultafors...

Great knife
Great value knife. Very similar to a Mora knife with a very sharp scandi grind. Handle is sized for a large hand.
