Great for cakes... not so sure about cookies
These. Are. TINY... like maybe the size of a silver dollar. If you attempted to make sugar cookies with them, they'd surely burn past the five minute mark. I have yet to try them out.... a little nervous. Will certainly work well to make sprinkle letter shapes on cakes and punch out fondant letters.i'm going to call it a win for the cake-making and it's back to the drawing board for my cookie letter wishlist.

smaller than expected
These are smaller than the picture shows. I have to use a toothpick to get the letter out of the plastic. But I think with patients it can be a great learning tool.

Great with Fondant!
I bought these to make cake decorations with fondant- it took a few times to get the hang of getting the fondant from the cutter, but after that they worked great!!

Good Cookie Cutters
Although the letters were smaller than I thought. They were still big enough to be added to a cake. With the few letters that I have used so far but I had no issues with using the cutters in fondant.

Hard to remove the letters from cutter
I used these for cutting out polymer clay letters for a letter board. Overall it worked fairly well. The plastic is sturdy and didn’t bend or snap. The biggest down side is that some times the inner cutting areas don’t cut all the way through as well as the outer edge, and getting the clay out can be hard. After cutting, the clay usually was left in the mold and had to be removed which lead to a lot of distorted pieces. I had to cover the back of the cutter with my mouth and blow hard to get the pieces loose. It may work better with a different medium, but overall I was able to make it work with polymer clay.

Work fine for fondant.
These were smaller than expected, but worked just fine for fondant & making outlines on cookies.

Very small, use for play dough instead of cookies but still ok

Hard to Remove Cookie from Cutter
Removing the cookies from the cutter letters was nearly impossible to do without damaging the cookie. Not sure how others removed the insides from the cutters, but after numerous attempts, adding butter to each stencil and still each resulting in a warped or damaged letter cookie, I had to give up. These might be good for shaping icing or hard candy but I was unable to use them to make little letter cookies.

Good for fondant
Never used anything like this but it turned out better than expected. Some of the letters did not sit flat on conter so didn't cut all the way through but toothpick solved this.

Good value for money
These little cutters are ideal for stamping out letter/numbers/symbols in fondant icing. Really good value and worked really well, easy to wash-up too!

Poorly made imports
These cutters are not wat I would call very well made, probably foreign knock offs, they did not cut the paste cleanly, some edges very thin plastic, some thick. If it wasn't for the fact that I was desperate, to be honest I would have sent them back, but they did the job on the day even if I did have to neaten the cuts.
