GREAT, simple, cost effective, functional, unobtrusive printer stand.
I wanted to review this product after seeing all the other reviews. First of all, for me it is great and exactly what I needed. I am completely satisfied. My prior stand was an old subwoofer with a small piece of plywood on top of it under my desk so I had to slide it out to use certain of my printer functions- no wheels, so it was problematic to use it.The Kantek is simple to assemble in probably 5 minutes, no screws or tools required. The devil is in the details, so here are details. The kit includes 2 identical shelves (about 13 1/4 by 17 1/8), 4 legs (each 7" high and about 1 3/4" square), 8 risers (to adjust shelf height), 4 wheels (which you insert into a cap that attaches at the bottom, an 4 caps that cover the holes on the top otherwise used to receive the legs. You can adjust the height by adding or removing one or both of the two risers for each supporting leg. Each riser is approximately 1 3/16" high and the same 1 3/4" size as the legs.Notes: 1. Wheels or not? Although the Kantek is intended to be used with the wheels, they are optional in that you do not have to use them unless you are like me and desire the mobility.2. Height adjustment. The risers or legs can be added between the shelves or even below the bottom shelf if you find it necessary to clear some obstacle below the stand. Be aware that if you did add the legs to the bottom, it may compromise stability of the stand to some degree but I will say the parts fit together fairly snugly so this issue should be minimal.3. The design of the stand would allow you to purchase 2 of the Kanteks and stack them to add additional shelves. Using all 16 (2 kits = 16 risers) risers on one shelf would give you one bottom shelf, one shelf of almost 5"(4 risers high), and two 7" shelves.4. Wheels: One reviewer had a serious problem with the wheels falling off. Assuming it was assembled properly, he unfortunately received a defective unit. In my case and evidently for most of the other reviewers, this is not problem. Mine are firmly attached, swivel properly and moves well over hardwood and carpet alike with the printer aboard. There are levers on each wheel you can activate if you do not want the wheels to turn.5. Printers. Kantek limits acceptable weight to 75 pounds. This should not be a problem for most printers, but I have large, heavy, laser printer that I would not attempt use on this stand. My Canon MP560 has a large footprint but is no weight issue for the stand and pretty much covers the top shelf. For those that tried to use it for 2 printers, you are limited by the intrusion of the legs. The opening at the front (between the legs) is 14". The side opening between the legs is 9 3/4". My HP deskjet F380 almost fits the bottom shelf at a shade over 10" deep.I strongly recommend this stand.

Kantek Mobile Printer Stand: Sturdy, unobtrusive and versatile
Have used Kantek's computer furniture and accessories in the past, so after taking a quick look at the variety of printer stands available here, it was almost a no-brainer to return to a known and familiar product line for a solution. The Kantek 2-Shelf Mobile Printer Stand has turned out to be an excellent solution for a problem that needed solving. Needed a mobile stand for my default printer, a Samsung SCX-3405FW Wireless Monochrome Printer with Scanner, Copier and Fax. This unit sees daily use, and there are those occasional times that it has to be moved between rooms. The printer measures about 15¾" wide by 11½" deep, and the dimensions on the top of the Kantek stand are 17" by 13¼, so it was an easy fit. The printer itself weighs just under 18 pounds, and the stand will take printers up to 75 pounds due to its reinforced shelves.Setup was easy, and no tools are required as everything pops into place. The stand is adjustable in terms of height, where you can add or remove short sections of the vertical posts in increments of 1¼" should the printer need to be stowed in a compact space. There's a bottom shelf for storage of paper, spare toner cartridges or other supplies. There's a convenient section on the back of the shelves for simple cable routing. The stand comes with four decent caster wheels for excellent mobility. It should be noted that two of these wheel assemblies can be locked, so they should be placed on the bottom of the front posts for good convenience. This Kantek 2-Shelf Mobile Printer Stand is an excellent solution for those who need a compact, mobile stand that can be set up in just a few minutes. It's sturdy, unobtrusive and versatile, so it's highly recommended for those who need a printer stand that fits in tight locations.3/2/2013

I thought I loved this cart
I thought I loved this cart, just the right size, very agile. But after a few months of extremely light use, one leg collapsed, crashing my printer to the floor. There is a crack in one of the legs at the top. I am going to try some gorilla glue but seriously light use (maybe printing a few pages a week, and moving it a few inches when I did that) broke this and almost broke my printer.

Sturdy rolling printer stand. Great height for a "chair side" printer....with some extra shelves too.
This is a sturdy little stand that his perfect for a "chair side" printer. Simple to assemble, very sturdy, extra shelves are always handy too.Two reasons this unit received 4 stars in stead of 5:1. I feel for a bunch of "click together" plastic it's overpriced at almost $90. I bought it anyway so I guess I didn't object that much. It was the exact size I was looking for but I do feel somewhat ripped off with this purchase.2. The drawer is a nice idea but it sticks and is very hard to open.Even with those two concerns, I'm happy with the stand.

Simple, functional, cost effective
I would have given more stars, but two of the caps that go on the top were missing from the package. This product was exactly what I was looking for. It was easy to assemble, fits perfectly under my desk, is lightweight and cost effective. I am in need of a second stand for my other printer but am a little leary becuase of the missing pieces. Sending it back would have been such a hassle it just wasn't worth it.All in all, I would recommend this product if you are looking for a convenient place to stow your printer out of the way. The freed up desk space is priceless!

Good and bad
Dimensions are ideal, and the drawer is a nice addition. However, it is not sturdy enough and when printing, the printer stand shakes a great deal. Perhaps the solution is to stack more things on the middle and bottom shelf to give it more weight and reduce the vibration.

Good for under desk printer
Purchased to put my printer under my desk. Like the fact it has wheels and is modular in height to a small degree. Quite sturdy for a plastic unit. Would recommend.

Not a bad table, but lackluster design
The end product is useful and functional, and assembly is easy once you realize parts are mated to other parts for shipping, but don't really belong there. Problem is, once assembled, it is rather janky; none of the risers lock in place, and lifting it by the top means, well, lifting off the top from the base...So I solved this by applying a line of strong, transparent tape top to bottom on each column, and it's holding together OK. Once a printer or something heavy is on top, it has no problem rolling while keeping square and true.Still - lock tabs, pins or even screws would have been welcome. Aside from that, the plastic is of a thicker gauge than average, which reflects in a sturdier drawer than expected. Not sure if it is glass fiber reinforced, but I doubt it. Two of the wheels have a lock slider, a reasonable idea.Got this cheap as an Amazon Warehouse deal, so I'm happy with the product considering the cost. YMMV if you pay full price, currently looking rather high for what you get - an OK assembly of molded plastic parts.
