Arm Candy Warrior: A Dark High School Romance (The Heights Crew)

I’m absolutely loving this series, and this book was brilliant. I love the characters. Kyla is such a strong, intense character who’s gotten herself in a situation which is far more complicated than she expected. She’s doing the best she can why sticking to her motive to be there. I absolutely love Johnny. I love the chemistry between them and I absolutely loved seeing their relationship develop in this book. God is frustrating how he won’t give into his desires though. I can’t wait to see them have each other fully and I bloody well hope that it’s in the book. He’s fiercely protective and possessive of her which is endearing, except he is literally beating anyone who so much as touches her up. I’m intrigued to see how it’s going to go with the other guys in the scene. Brawler and Oscar are both great characters. I love the relationship they have with her, and I love the fact they know about each other. Magnum is a great character too. I love how their relationship is developing, but they haven’t crossed that line yet. I’m looking forward to Magnum taking that leap, and giving into his feelings. The storyline is brilliant. There’s new twists and turns and we’re learning more about the Crew. Big Daddy K is clearly a ruthless leader, and obviously slightly unhinged. Johnny can’t see what Kyla sees with it being his dad. I’m intrigued to see how all all this will play out, especially with her original plan and motive. The cliffhanger at the end was unexpected. The fact she’s now relying on the man she hates… I’m looking forward to reading the next book. Overall, this book was brilliant and I would definitely recommend this series. I’m absolutely loving it. I went in expecting big things and I wasn’t disappointed, lots of action, spice and an intriguing storyline that makes you wonder who’s head is going to get caved in next! I still can’t see how this is going to be a non choosing story unless one of the main characters has a major personality transplant But yeah - more Magnum please. Good read 4⭐️

Another book that I have eagerly been anticipating....and it was so worth the wait! God I love this gritty storyline and all the different characters. In this book we get more of Oscar and Magum and you can ser the different relationships building. We have some epic sex scenes as well which were really hot! The more I read from this author the more blown away I am, I love the style of writing, it just has the right mix of details, plot, characters with depth as well as edge of your seat drama. Only downside is I now have to wait for the final instalment!! Every book by this author is 5 stars, if i could give more stars I would do!! Highly recommend this author and her books!!!

After how Uppercut Princess (Book 1) ended in that cliffhanger, I couldn't wait for this book. And I wasn't disappointed it was so worth the wait. It starts right after the events of the last book, I'm not going to spoil it but wow, I have so much theories about this series. I'm still not sure if your meant to like Johnny but I do think he is redeemable and in this book you get to see abit of emotional side of him. I have a love/hate relationship with his character. Mag is a mystery though but he definitely has feelings for Kyla, he is very protective of her. As for Big Daddy K I have my theories about him. I really do hate that man. I absolutely loved this book, and again it ends in a cliffy. So bring on book 3 I can't wait.

some parts were 4 stars but some were 3. i enjoyed this book more as i was more familiar with the guys and MC also i was able to feel the characters emotions alot more in this book. :) would like to get the next book when its out

An explosive start to book two in the heights crew series but i needed to know they were all ok!! Kyla ia one tough badassary chick but underneath the hard exterior is a lost soul. Once i had my heart calmed down amd could breathe and think,there is so much more within this book & characters- bundles of danger, hurt, love, laughter, lies & tourtured souls! Johnny can be a complete ass but damnn i am drawn to him! Magnum, Oscar & Brawler have my heart and soul they've all completely grown with the story & their feircly loyal to Kyla - it will have you swooning. There friggin chemistry is strong and leaves your heart pounding as a reader! There were so many moments my head was shouting OMG & nooo as i took in each chapter. That ending damn Moore loves a cliffy and i am fully friggin invested within the heights crew❤

Don't take the 4stars as a sign that this is a bad second book. It's quite the opposite. It's really really good. I just find the RH a little uncomfortable. I enjoy allot of RH books but this one is different. I can't help but feel like it's breaking the rules a little and is more on the cheating/affair side of things. But then this series is a dark romance and they're meant to break the rules. All in all a great second book and I can't wait for the third

This series is definitely one for people who love the mfc to be a badass character who can see sometimes that she might be a bit too deep in a bad situation but carries on! Kyla finally opened up to Oscar and Brawler and I'm so glad she did! Totally rooting for her with these two. I know Magnum is a big, protective alpha type but I still want to hug him since he is restraining himself so much with Kyla! I'm still on the fence with Johnny since I like him when not showing the major influence his dad has had on him. The story keeps you gripped every time and flows perfectly. Excited for the next book after where we were left off!

I have found that in most book series the second book is usually lacking. But not Arm Candy Warrior. It was freaking fantastic! The relationships that are being built are everything. Kyla is still bad ass! Just...awesome

Bit of a spoiler after the second paragraph so careful! I have to say thank goodness I don’t have to wait a year for the next two books to come out lol. I haven’t read anything that has kept my attention so well, honestly because it does not follow the typical romance pattern. I can’t guess everything that will happen based on how far along I am in the book. This has to be the best dark romance I’ve read, it’s not over the top. It has a very blunt/callous vibe, it doesn’t get overly wordy with dramatic insults that feel awkward. Well freaking done on those main love interests, I can’t decide who the heck I want, how could Kyla lol. I LOVE Johnny which really surprised me because Brawler was so amazing from the beginning. His intensity and possessiveness is off the charts, I hope he isn’t crushed when he finds everything out.

These cliffys are a torture of the sweetest kind! Either that or I’m just a masochist but who cares!!! This series is giving me life! Full of dark and mysterious intent, heavy tension that leaves you taught as a bow and a kick ass heroine you can’t help but imagine yourself to be. I love how with everything going on, the relationships kyla is forging but also the drama and obstacles that come up don’t faze her away from her ultimate goal. Usually when feelings get involved especially to someone so close to your goal lines get blurred and missions get aborted. But with kyla, she doesn’t let it stop her from reaching that moment where she takes back her life and that is admirable. So different from all the other dark books that start off like that only to turn a blind eye in the end. I think for me personally that’s what makes this story even more riveting! The web gets more tangled in this book with games being played all around and unknown agendas hung in the air. Definitely steamy yet some heartwarming moments also which I love. The flow of the story and placement of light and dark moments really make the experience all the more engaging. The characters and their growth progression matches the story perfectly. Brawler!!! I’m calling dibs!!! Truly a captivating read that transported me to this world and I cannot wait to see how it all comes to head in the next book! I loved every moment!

It gets hot hot hot in this second instalment to the Heights Crew series. I thoroughly enjoyed the twists and turns this book took. I am actually coming to crave the time she spends with Rocket. His bipolar and slightly twisted ways are doing it for me. Brawler and Oscar are also coming together quite nicely if you know what I mean. Even though they have softened their edges for Kyla, I am still a fan of their characters. I am curious to see where this series is going.
