works very well
this is a great food processor, it blends very well, easy to use and to set up for different types of food, leaks very little from the top at high speed, it works very well, value is ok.

If you need one by this one!!
This thing is amazing. I’ve used it for several different things (shredding cheese, making a puree, and chopping veggies) and I can’t get over just how good it works. It works insanely fast, I chopped 4 zucchini’s in literally one minute and shredded 4 bars of cheese in 2 minutes. It’s impressively quick, great sturdy quality, and it’s so easy to wash! I wouldn’t HIGHLY recommend this.

Awesome food processor!!!
Well, I’ve been a baker for many many years. I’ve owned a food processor for years. I owned a basic food processor till I just wore it out. I had it probably 15 years. It did the job I have a small ninja that I would use from time to time. When my old food processor broke down right before the holidays I had to work fast.I decided to get the professional XL and I absolutely love it. I used it for the first time tonight to make Christmas cookies oh my goodness it is powerful, big, and does the job more than I expected I would highly recommend purchasing this ninja professional XL food processor.

Loving it!
I have to confess that I was planning on keeping my Cuisinart forever, and just replacing the plastic parts as they broke. I was totally sure that no other food processor could be as good as it.... and I was totally wrong. A plastic safety feature broke off 2 days before Thanksgiving and I panicked because I couldn't find anyplace to get a new part in time. So I spent an hour or so reading reviews for other food processors and chose this one. I bought it from Amazon because they could deliver it the next day, whereas the closest store I could pick one up was 6 hours away. I am telling you this so you understand that this was a desperation purchase. But I could NOT be happier. The first thing I noticed was that the turning mechanism was NOT part of the base, so there was no hole in the bottom of the plastic bowl like I was used to. This means that when I turn it on, that initial surge wouldn't make stuff drip out of that center hole and get all over the food processor. It also means that if you want to soak it when you are done, the water won't be pouring out of that hole - you can fill the bowl totally up with water. The lid has a gasket so if you overfill the bowl, it all stays inside when you turn it on. The chute is SOOO nice - no more of the funky extra piece that my Cuisinart had that makes it VERY difficult to clean when you are done. When you use the disk, it is low enough that any vibrations are NOT going to reduce the life span of the bowl, but high enough for you to put a reasonable amount of stuff inside before needing to remove some to add more. When I made a smoothie with frozen strawberries, the machine did it absolutely effortlessly. The chopping blade is amazing - the amount of time it takes for this gadget to chop everything into beautiful tiny pieces is miniscule - I was still putting stuff in the top when I noticed how well everything was already chopped. It has suction cups on the bottom to hold it in place, which is also VERY nice, since my Cuisinart liked to take a tour of my countertops. All 3 accessories fit inside the food processor for storage (I don't know if the dough one would fit in there as well, but I will never use that). There are just a few things that I would like to see improved. The main one is that when you are done, all the lights start flashing. If you have sensory issues like I do, you may want to think twice before buying this - it make my heart start racing and I can't turn the thing off fast enough! I would like the chute to be wide enough that I could put a whole cucumber in it to be sliced. I would REALLY like another disk that could make thicker slices, and I totally understand that it wouldn't fit inside for storage. And it is going to take some time to get used to the pusher. It fits in the chute SO well, that when I first opened up the box, I thought it wasn't included - only to later realize that it was already on the pusher. And I am still having that trouble 2 weeks later - not realizing that it is there until I put something in the chute and nothing comes out - LOL. My Cuisinart's pusher was white plastic, so it was obvious, unlike this one that is made of the same material as the rest of it. But in general, I am very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend it. Oh - and one more thing. The bowl is higher than I am used to, and I was having trouble getting all the tiny garlic pieces off the sides of it. What I did was fill the bowl with water and dump it into a strainer. Ta da - the bottom of the strainer was full of the garlic, which I could easily put into my wok!

Great product, works well
Great product! Stacked chopping and mixing blades do an excellent job preparing the food while keeping the bowl relatively clean. There is no need to stop the processing to scrape the sides with a spatula. Warning, the chopping blades are very sharp. I keep the chopping blade stored in the unit when not in use to protect uneducated fingers from finding it. My only complaint is that the the handle is hollow and fills with water while being washed, without a way to clean or dry it. My wish is that, in the future, products like this one will provide a better way to store attachments so they are kept clean and easy to access.

Happy with it
Retired my old discontinued Cuisinart model (the plastic replacement bowl cost was very high) so decided to try Ninja. It takes a few uses to get used to the differences from fitting the parts and securing the top onto the bowl, but after that grace period I’m truly loving this machine. My only small complaint is crevices under the rubber seals can be a bit tricky to clean. With that said this is a high quality and very efficient kitchen tool at a very fair price.

Perfect for making Peanut Butter!
I bought this Ninja food processor to make peanut butter. I read online that making homemade peanut butter can be hard on a food processors motor so I got this one because it said the motor was so strong-1000 watts. Well let me tell you, this thing delivered! It made peanut butter in under 10 minutes and the machine base didn’t even get hot! Not to mention it’s super easy to put together and take apart. It takes minutes to clean despite having a number of pieces to wash. I also found using it super simple. I read the instruction manual which walked me through using it the first time. Overall, it was really simple, easy to clean in my opinion, and made exactly what I asked for. Definitely keeping this beast in my kitchen. Also the suction cup feet work GREAT. I didn’t have to hold the machine down. It did all the work for me!

Great food processor
Powerful. I replaced a brand-new Hamilton Beach 12-cup that wasnt doing the job. This has 2 levels of mixing blade and works great. The only minor complaint I have is that when assembled, it doesn't fit under my cabinets. I just put the bowl on its side on top of the motor part.
