Cane Collection S18 (2.85 Qt) Mixing Bowl 2.85 Quart

The bowl is absolutely lovely. The quality is excellent however the packaging was horrendous. It was backed in flimsy bubble wrap with nothing else in the box to support it in place. The box itself was damaged and I am very surprised bowl arrived in one piece.

Theses bowls seem a little pricey until you take into account, that they don't break (drop mind of the counter by accident, no even a chip), and will last for ever. Plus as some who loves to cook, all the bowls inside are a bright white, therefore you can see what your mixing and the sides of the bowls are high so there's no splashing. Once you use a Mason Cash bowl you'll never want to use another bowl again. I know have 6 bowls plus the Mason Cash mixing/batter bowl.

Received the product all broken up. And why shouldn't it be? It was wrapped in a very flimsy plastic and put inside a flimsy box, without any padding of any kind! What is Mason Cash thinking when they allow this thing to happen all the time, because apparently, we're not the only ones with this problem? The bowl was beautiful and it was a shame that it arrived all broken up into several pieces. P.S. It's almost laughable that they ask you to "repack" the item properly in order to return it thru UPS!

Mason Cash bowls are excellent choices for any kitchen chore. Even the largest sizes are light enough to hold with one hand while scooping out batter, yet they are sturdy enough to stand up to whatever you might do to them. They are classic and worth the price.

This is the perfect size for mixing cakes and smaller batches of bread. The glaze got a bit scuffed after using an electric mixer on it one time, but I suppose that’s normal. I just hope it doesn’t continue to wear off. Love the look and feel of it. Heavy enough to be stable while mixing, but light enough to lift.

I thought I would like it but I didn’t. I bought it because it looked beautiful in the show Downtown Abbey. It was the bowl the cookers in the kitchen would use all the time. It didn’t look beautiful too much when I got it, but I kept it anyway.

Mason Cash is the best. That is a given. What made me very happy was that it arrived in one piece, because care was taken to make sure it would ship without getting broken. Thank you.

Diese Schüsseln sind robust, praktisch und schön. Ich habe sie in allen Größen und freue mich jedesmal, wenn ich die benutze.

Kannte die Firma Mason Cash bereits von einem Einkauf in London. Ich freute mich, als ich die Rührschüssel in den gleichen Farben bei Amazon entdeckte. Die Lieferung war schnell da. Beim Auspacken stellte ich allerdings fest, dass die Schüssel etwas dunkler ist als auf der Abbildung, aber doch recht schön. Habe auch gleich 3 ineinander passende Größen gekauft, weil ich die größere zum gehen lassen von Brot- bzw. Hefeteig brauche. Natürlich habe ich gleich losgelegt und einen Teig geknetet. Das ging sehr gut, weil die Schüssel schön weit ist und man beim Kneten nicht immer auf dem Rand aufliegt. Die Glasur ist glatt und ohne Fehler, aber leider nicht kratzfest. Das bemerkte ich, als ich mit dem Mixer die Masse für meinen Kuchenbelag gerührt habe. Eine Rührschüssel sollte das aber eigentlich ohne Krater überstehen. Als angenehm empfunden habe ich, dass es Steinzeug ist, aber die Schüsseln trotzdem nicht so sehr schwer sind.
