Any complaints about this are silly. Best mask I’ve tried, and I’m picky! Yes, some assembly required on the sincher thingies, but just get a skilly coat hanger or something to push straps through the holes is 5 minutes well spent on awesome tightening mechanism. Fabric is indeed interesting, almost a denim, but I think ideal for a mask as it retains form, allowing a pocket of air in front of your mouth/nose making it very easy to breathe. If concerned about it going thru the wash...hand wash it with some dish soap in the kitchen sink and let it air dry for a few hours, easy peasy! This mask stays on by itself, easy to pop on and off, and easy to breathe! First mask I can exercise in without going nuts or suffocating.

I have tried so many different types of mask and they all look ridiculous, either too big or bulky looking like a jock strap on your face. This mask looks so good it’s super fitted but it’s not perfect if only the adjustable nose bridge could be more of a flat wire instead this mask feels like it just has a piece of wire more like the thickness and roundness of a wire coat hanger , I mean it’s flexible and soft but it feels a bit uncomfortable, also the inside of the mask has little fibers that keep brushing against your mouth and nose I tried pulling the fibers out but no luck maybe after a couple of washes they will go away .. overall I would still recommend it because of how good it looks no other mask so far that I have tried looks this good and fitted ..

I really like that the straps go around my head and are both adjustable and stretchy (doesn’t hamper glasses or hearing aids) I also like that I can get them in all unmarked black (Only color I can use at work) The general shape, pleats, and coverage is very good. There is a nose wire which is good, however; the wire is round and not very malleable. It is very stiff and does not form around the nose well. The material is somewhat stiff and not breathable. Air intake and exhale must go around the edges Of the mask. It is very hot. The interior of the mask has some sort of loose fiber surface that is itchy like a fiberglass insulation. This causes a need to scratch or otherwise fiddle with the mask.

Liked em so much I bought another pack. Mine came assembled and have washed them over 20 times regularly and dried in the dryer. Not 1 issue with a single mask! I had a problem with masks staying over my nose and I hate the stringy masks that tearup your ears. These masks fit wide and are a bit thick! Tightens exactly where you want it and as tight as you want it. Love em! Lifesavers. Downfall is the strings are rather long and hang off the back of your head and neck. If you guys don't mind looking like safe ninjas, I recommend these!

I don't want cords pulling on my ears, so I was hoping these Purian face covers would solve that problem. Unfortunately, although I like the basic design and idea of this mask, the product is deeply flawed. Beyond the maddening feeding of straps into the cord-lock bead and adjusting the unadjustable nose clip -- there's the itchy polyester material that, on the inside, pills and shards like crazy. I had never worn the masks. I simply put them in the wash for the first time -- and the back side of the material dissolved into some sort of stringy, linty mess. The masks are not unwearable, but the thin strings are uncomfortable -- and of course, the white lint gets on the front. One star. There's nothing quite as bad as a good idea -- poorly executed.

These masks are comfortable, roomy (great for larger/wider faces like mine), soft and the straps make a world of difference comfort-wise. The ONLY thing I would change would be to put a bendable strip at the top so you can hold the mask closer to your skin to avoid steaming up my eyeglasses. But I have added those on my own, so it's not a huge deal. I've tried so many masks from disposables, home made, and multiple other types, but these are by far the most comfortable and useful for long term use (like when I have to have a mask on for hours).

That photo is how my two-pack came -- one seems to have a decent amount of the Pellon material inside, the other clearly does not. After a hand-wash, trying to fit was not a pleasant experience. The seam around all the edges is made of the same material as the ties, which makes for a soft, comfortable edge, but one that does not hold to the face and provide a seal. I tried adjusting the straps in a variety of ways, but couldn't resolve that. Even with the nose wire, which I found long enough (I'm a 6' 2" man, avg size nose), whenever I exhaled I felt bursts of air going up into my eyes. Like someone else said -- good idea; poor execution. The Pellon layer should be between two layers of cotton, not just sprayed on one side. Likely should never be machine-washed, and only air-dried. I can only imagine the Pellon layer getting quickly destroyed by a washer/dryer. I love ties behind-the-head (and the tie material + lace locks for this mask are near-perfect themselves), not a fan of the ear-strap masks. I've yet to find one that works well. With the restrictions on returns (which makes perfect sense), I've spent more and more on useless masks than I ever had hoped to.

I just ordered a pair of these for my 17 year old son, he has microtia, no right ear, and Covid presented us with quite a problem. The ear loop masks don’t work for him since he’s an ear short and everything I found with ties, the ties weren’t long enough to tie around his large head. He’s been using an ear loop mask paper clipped at the back of his head. This mask is just what he needed. It’s really soft material, he wears it all day at school, and the straps are long, stretchy and adjustable. Thank you! Thank you! He loves it!!!

My husband finds these the most comfortable masks he’s tried. He has a hard time anything around his ears. These fit his large head with room to spare. The little bead on the string gives lots of room for adjustment. He cut some of the string off so he had no issues with them getting caught in stuff at work. They are quite big, and my husband has a big head lol. They cover his whole nose mouth and chin with no issues. Would buy again. Wash up well too.

Ties are difficult for older people with arthritic hands. A velcro strap would be better option. My mother couldn't use it4!

These are extremely large!!! They don’t have a sizing in the ad for them so it is deceiving. There also is no metal bridge for the nose. I might be a small person, but, I don’t believe they should almost cover my whole face.
