Ok. These rocks work if used correctly. They chill the scotch/whiskey/whatever you are drinking. They don't make it cold like ice will, but that's not what they are supposed to do. They just take the drink down few degrees from room temp without watering it down. They only last for one pour before you have to use more stones. That's why there are 9 in the pack. Warning: Make sure they are dry before you toss them back in the freezer. If they are damp, they will freeze together. I chipped one trying to separate them.

After I bought the stones I started to receive warm and personal emails from the manufacture thanking me for purchasing their product. I absolutely love the way that they connect with their customers. I bought the stones as a gift for my husband because he drinks the top of the line whisky with ice. Lol When I researched the stones I was already impressed with the package but now I am blown away from the personal touch. This was a gift for my husband but we're both enjoying the stones. There are two kinds of whiskey in the house: the kind you can water down with ice cubes and water, and the kind you want to sip and enjoy slowly. Use the stones for the good whiskey and savor it. If good whiskey gets too cold, you don't have a chance to enjoy the nice flavor.My biggest pro with the stones is that they're long lasting. We thought they might only last one round but both of us slowly sipped our way through two rounds of whiskey with the stones and the temperature was still perfect. We didn't try a third round because we have a toddler who needs us in the morning.Bottom line: enjoy the flavor of a delicious whiskey with the stones. The flavor doesn't change and the temperature is perfect (not too cold, not warm).
