Glad I Ordered
I was apprehensive about giving this digital frame a try after reading about some of the complaints, but it was the ONLY frame I could find in the style I wanted (something soft and homey that doesn't just look like a computer screen) so I decided to give it a try. So glad I did! Not only does it blend well with my decor, but we have not had ANY of the common complaints mentioned in other reviews. For instance, our photos all display in their proper orientation (possibly due to their source vs others) and you can see the photo clearly even when not viewing the frame from straight on. In fact, we were hard pressed to find an angle where the display began to alter. Additionally, the cord is plenty long enough for where we have the frame placed, leaving us with 2 ft of extra cord (I would guess it's abt 4 foot total). Very glad I ordered!

Piece of junk. Does not display pictures in proper orientation.
The frame looks great, but it is a piece of junk. It does not auto rotate the pictures, and doesn't seem to handle pictures well that don't have an orientation tag in the picture metadata. It may even ignore the orientation tag, not sure. Consequently half your pictures will be sideways or upside down when they are displayed. Almost all devices nowadays autorotate, and so if you look at the pictures on anything else or your computer, then you can't tell which ones you need to mainly rotated or not because this picture frame is so behind the times. I would not buy unless you are willing to go through an extensive effort to make sure all your picture metadata orientation tags are right and for the ones that don't have orientation tags manually rotate the photos. And this assumes you know which ones need to be fixed and which ones don't, which is obviously a pain if you use this frame how most people do where you have tens or even hundreds of pictures on the frame.

Pictures rotated improperly and photo quality wasn't as good as expected.
I was really excited about this purchase, but unfortunately it did not live up to my expectations and has been returned. What I liked about it:* the rustic looking "wood" frame. Even though it wasn't wood, it was aesthetically pleasing to me and would have worked nicely with the decor in my home.* the frame's size* ability to hang on a wall or use a stand on a tabletop* the ability to set a timer so that it automatically turns on/off on a schedule. I didn't even know about that function when I bought it and was pleasantly surprised. What ultimately made me return the frame:* The frame rotated pictures however it pleased. My pictures were all properly oriented when I put them on my SD card on the computer. I plugged the SD card to the frame and they were turned all different directions. After playing with it for a bit, I figured out how I could use settings on the frame to rotate them, but when the frame turned on the next morning, it had undone all my work! I contacted customer service and they recommended a third party software to rotate the photos. I had already returned the frame by the time I received their response because I started working on using the frame 2 days before my return window closed, so I cannot speak to how well their suggestion worked.* The display quality wasn't as good as I had hoped. I think I'm probably not the only person spoiled by the quality of display on our phones these days, and the display quality of this frame was quite frankly underwhelming. I played with contrast, saturation, and brightness settings and never really got what I wanted out of it. I'm now using an old iPad2 (last one released before they started using retina display) on slideshow mode to display some pictures, and that is satisfactory for me.One last good thing:* the return process was super easy.

Save yourself the trouble!
While easy enough to turn on and figure out how to use, most of the photos on my memory card were pixelated. I guess this cheap, plastic wood-look frame is made for photos of equally low quality. Also, after changing/adjusting the slideshow settings, the frame would still display the photos using whatever time length and transition effects it wanted. However, what made this item an immediate return/refund was the fact that it was missing pieces. The box says it should include the frame, a frame stand, power adapter and instructions. The only items in the box were the frame and power adapter. Can't really set this frame anywhere without the stand! Save yourself the headache: Drop a little more dough on a better frame.

Cards must be less than 32 GB, sideways pictures
The frame can't read SDXC cards or drives so one must use 32 GB or less SD cards or thumb drives. The bigger problem is it renders my phone portrait pictures sideways instead of straight up, very annoying, and reformatting all my pictures to landscape or 8:10 is a huge task. I wouldn't recommend this frame unless you are willing to take on the reformat task.

Nice Quality / Easy to Use
My decor is upscale coastal so this frame fit perfectly. We just got back from a big vacation and wanted to display our photos. It's really easy to use. The specs say it can use up to a 128 GB card, but it didn't. I called the help desk and tried my 8 GB card and that worked. The 128 card didn't work even with one jpg reduced down to a small size. But, other than that it works great. You really don't even need directions. You just plug it in, choose your options and put your card with pics in the slot. You can use a flash drive too.

Cheap Piece of Drivel
This is such a terrible frame. You'd think at this price point it would be decent enough, but it seems like something you should be able to get for $10. The controls are some really annoying and difficult to use buttons on the back of the frame. The setup options are difficult to use and severely lacking. You can't even set it to shuffle and the transitions all look horrible. The screen also is a bit low resolution and seems to distort the color of the photos slightly.Absolute garbage. Don't buy this.

Came with a US plug socket when shipped to the UK.
Nowhere in the product description does it state the type of power socket it uses and most certainly not that it doesn't support UK sockets. Bought it as a Christmas gift but cannot use it in Scotland, which is pointless.

Faulty and of poor quality
Product didn't work at all and feels a little light-weight/cheap. Also had to purchase a US/UK adapter for it is now redundant.

What a great looking, and functioning digital frame! Have bought 2 so far!
I think this has got to be one of the best digital picture frames out there. It is not small, and the frame looks like real distressed wood. It has glass with a matte behind it, and the screen behind that, just like an actual photo would be framed. It can take a USB stick or SD card for memory.I have had this frame for two years now, plus bought one for my parents about 6 months ago, and they both work great. My daughter has a smaller frame by the same company, and this one is SO MUCH better. The programming on this one is much more savvy, as you can program it with the time of day, and then program it to turn on when you want, and off when you want.I did have to adjust the contrast and brightness a bit once I got it. Also, I don't use the stand it came with, as if it is tilted that much, the photos are too dark to see well when sitting on the couch (because of the angle). I have it propped up straighter so it looks great both sitting and standing.I love this digital frame and would highly recommend it!

Very disappointed
I bought this in October 2020 for Christmas present. They've only used it since then, and now it doesn't display anything. Very faint background!! There is a one year warranty, so I should be able to return it, and get it fixed or replaced. Had I known this product would of malfunctioned like this in 2 months time, I would have never purchased it.Please respond Aluratex and tell me what procedures I need to do to return this product and get it replaced or reimbursed. Thank you.
