Helps me not want to get rid of my CPAP.
I love this pillow for use with my CPAP! I love that there are two different heights, one on each side that I didn't even realized at first. I am a side/tummy sleeper and this really helped with preventing leaks and pressure points. I like to sleep with my hands up near my head and the cut outs help with that. The firmness of the memory foam, helped my head feel support yet it felt soft and comfortable at the same time. I didn't notice a smell, but after reading reviews, I gave it a day to expand fully and air out so that I did not have any issues.

Cried with joy
After months and months of horrible experiences with my BIPAP machine, I was sick and tired of even trying to make it work, despite my serious CNS apnea. I knew that the lack of oxygen and quality sleep caused all sorts of dangerous effects, including falling asleep while driving. Even though I’d changed out 3 mask types, tightened the straps so much that I’d get terrible headaches, adjust my bed so I could sit up all night, nothing helped. I was ready to throw in the towel, even if it meant my insurance would no longer contribute to the cost of my equipment. I was depressed and feeling worse with each passing day.I’m a side-sleeper, so that brings its own set of issues: facial pain from shifting (and continually tightening the straps) of masks, lack of oxygen, loud “burping” noises, whistling and choking sounds that not only kept my partner and me awake, they also scared the dog - scared to the point where he would climb the bed and stand on top of my spouse. We were resigned to having a super high-strung dog.It wasn’t until I was awakened by my awful Exorcist-like sounds and saw my dog react within seconds that I figured out the cause of his fearfulness. All the anti-depressants, anti-anxiety, ThunderShirts and CBD products we’d been giving him had been a waste. I’d been scheduled for yet another appointment with my pulmonologist and had already ordered a third type of mask.However....Last night was the first night I tried out the Lunderg CPAP Pillow for Side Sleepers. The softness of the cover was sublime, the pillow’s loft was perfect, and the differently sized cutouts were absolutely genius!!! This is the first time in years that I’d slept through most of the night. I got up this morning feeling refreshed and without the headaches and sluggishness I typically experience. I just bawled like a baby. I’m thrilled, relieved and thankful for the creators of this Lundberg CPAP Pillow for Side Sleepers. I’d become the poster-child for this product if they’d allow me to. I’m so, so grateful. Regardless of what you’ve tried and failed with before, take just one more chance to give this product a try. I’m convinced this pillow is the your best chance to finally be successful & gain the health benefits that your CPAP or BIPAP machines are designed to give you. Don’t despair; just try it. I’m betting you’ll experience what I did: a renewed commitment to complying with my BIPAP machine requirements and excited anticipation for improved health. Good luck!!

Effective CPAP pillow
A bit small, however, found the pillow effective providing more comfortable sleep. This pillow allowed me to sleep on back and side. Like the functionality of two thicknesses with removable cushion.

Worth Price and Surprisingly Cool Temperature-wise
My biggest hesitation is memory foams inherent flaw of heat retention, as in hot flash levels of discomfort. I have had this specific experience many, many years ago trying a memory foam pillow when it was first all a rage. However this pillow is surprisingly heat stable and this is using the pillow case out of the box and not the cool comfort case.I have great things to say about comfort. Depression into the pillow at the neck is firm there is allowance for the CPAP hardware to remain fixed and not smeared across my mouth and nose. The pillow also has depressions to streamline the air hose in a way that it keeps it from bunching up.Finally, adjusting the height is an added plus and I love that this a high side and a lower side.Memory foam other inherent issue is its heavy weight but it is unavoidable.Pillow is a bit expensive but I wholeheartedly encourage any CPAP user to purchase and use this product.

Worth the money !
Just had this for a week. I have had no problem with any smell, though I left it unwrapped for most of the day before using it. I find it very comfortable and supports my neck perfectly which has cured my " morning neck " syndrome. This next perhaps could be coincidence, but my average record of sleep apnea incidences has gone down significantly.

Its ok
The cutouts are supposed to help keep the mask from shifting and prevent air leakage. BUT they are in the wrong place. Which is why I gave it a 3. If you use the center cut out for your neck you don't reach the side cut out for the mask. The pillow is ok a bit softer than I like but it gives more than my buckwheat one. By the way, there is no need to buy the pillowcases (it comes with one or two, and if you buy two, it costs extra). I sleep with a standard-sized silk pillowcase, which fits this pillow just fine. And I put it over their pillowcase. The insert to increase height is nice, but I am fine with the taller side of the pillow (it comes with two heights built on.)

Can't do without.
I bought different pillows searching for a pillow that didn't give me a stiff neck or keep bumping the CPAP mask and breaking the seal. The "carve outs" in the pillow is exactly what was needed. It took a little adjusting but is exactly what I needed. No stiff neck and restful sleep without CPAP mask being bumped ajar. Whoever invented this "gets it". Thankyou so much.
