Amazing flashlight!
This is really fantastic flashlight. Super bright. Great build quality. Charges quickly. The different brightness and strobe modes are also nice. This is just as good, if not better, than Streamlight. No complaints!

Great gift flashlight for GF
Bought it for a girlfriend cuz she liked my Nitecore edc. After showing her how to use it, she now makes this her edc. She wants nothing else in her pocket but this light. Happy I made the purchase for hee

Slightly smaller than others , an excellent light
A solid light ! Very powerful ,charges fast ! After having a twig rip my tail cap and light switch right off my rifle I purchased a magpul hand held light adapter and this light is perfect, I do now carry two spare hand held similar lights and batteries and a power charger in my bail out bag but that's beside the point. A great product.

Nice light
Nice light. Very bright. Two issues though. I bought a nitecore battery charger forever ago. When I got the flashlight it was beyond dead. I put the battery in the nitecore charger to see it’s voltage and it was 1v. That’s damaged territory. After a bit of charging the charger shows poor internal resistance of over 500mOh. Again, damaged. Seems to work fine though. Second issue is the on/off/mode button. It is impossible to find in the dark. There’s nothing tactile about it. The two ends feel almost identical. I have to fiddle for a bit to figure out how to turn it on. The other issue is that when it's in my pocket, I constantly pull it out and the flashlight is already on. It's too easy to turn on and off accidentally. Tail switches don't do that. Might return to get the one with the tail button.

excellent flashlight
A very nice flashlight at a good price. Seems to be built well and feels solid. All the functions work and are easily accessible ,very bright at top setting. Many accessories come with it,making it very versatile. I'm using the pocket clip which works but it's not super strong or stiff, it works though. The only negative I have is the power button is rather hard to find in complete darkness, you'll have to roll the light in your hand to locate it by feel. If you're needing an EDC/Tactical light ,you probably want something with tailcap activation. I use this around the house/hiking & camping situations so it works fine in those roles. Overall an excellent buy so far !

Buying a Nitecore flashlight with trust!
Nitecore flashlight are some of the best flashlight/tools I have and true to the product specs. In addition to the great warranty of 5 years. I had my Nitecore P12 flashlight for just over 3 years and for some reason the electronics stopped it from going to high lumens? I reached out to Nitecore to ask about some type of reset but they told me about the warranty and said go back the store for the guarantee. I had purchased it on Amazon and when I called them , they provided me a full refund! Amazon was great to work with so guess what I purchased another Nitecore flashlight for work! People how can you go wrong here! Great product and great warranty including the product be backed by Amazon ! I have many flashlights from different vendors for work and home uses, have at least five Nitecore flashlights and now have a new ensured feeling of when I purchased a Nitecore flashlight it will be a good decision. Thanks Nitecore!

Reliability and warranty? Keep searching…
Durability and warranty are disappointing. I purchased my flashlight in 2/26, and it just stopped working 8/26. I plugged it in to charge it and it never notified it was complete charging, like it normally would... So I unplugged it anyway to use it for work, however when I unplugged it the light didn’t flash to recognize that it had been unplugged, instead it displayed slowly pulsing as if it was being charged. I tried taking the battery out, pressing the start button to drain whatever is left.. I tried other batteries, nothing would work. I reached out to support by email them on the email they included with the light. They told me to contact Amazon for help. Amazon told me it was beyond 30 days. I emailed back and told them, they said to try to reach out via a contact seller link within Amazon… I told them that just refers me back to an Amazon return, which I’m beyond the return period to be eligible for. They then say okay, and ask me to jump through all the hoops to prove it doesn’t work, and do all the trouble shooting i already did, and tell them when I did it and what alternative battery type I used. This takes several days of back and forth. Finally I get to the end and then they tell me to contact another email address as it’s one of their vendors that handles issues like this. This messaging took weeks of back and forth… I start alllll over again with this new email address, even though I forwarded the old email chain hoping it would help cut to the chase… jump through all the qualifying and proving of the issue… they finally get back to me and tell me I am approved. They give me an RMA to return the item and battery for repair or replacement, but they don’t include shipping… so I jump through all these hoops, arguably extra hoops because they’re disorganized and take their time to answer emails, all over an obvious mfg defect, all for them to tell me I have to pay for warranty return shipping. If I knew this is how they’d handle this, I would have just started shopping a different brand for a more reliable replacement.

Nice light with USB C charging
I own several Nitecore flashlights. The P12 and an HC30. I like the 18650 battery form factor in both lights and haven’t had any issues with them during years of ownership. I saw this model coming out with the newer 21700 battery and USB C charging and was immediately intrigued. The price was right so I ordered one up. The construction is typical Nitecore, which is to say very sturdy and well-built. What I’ve come to expect in their products. It comes with a push-on clip, a holster, and a lanyard so there are several different options to equip the light. Upon charging the battery and turning the light on, I have to say I was a little disappointed in the output. I guess I was expecting more out of 1200 lumens. Or maybe my old P12 just seems brighter? I’m not sure. I do like the light though and intend to keep it. I also like the fact that it can tail stand and the power button is on the side. Makes for a nice contrast to the “tactical” style of my old P12. The price is nice and USB C charging is a welcome addition. No external battery charger needed.
