I have something similar to this, but i'm not sure if this is the one. wonder if the ic of this remote is using smc5326p-3?

I opened up one of the remote fobs that came with my E8-400MM opener. The chip used in my remotes is an SMC5326S-3. There is a 433 MHz oscillator crystal used so I "assume" the 400MM series run on 433 MHz and the 300MM series run on 330 MHz but the support tech Jason would need to verify that. I cannot locate spec sheets for these chips so I cannot tell you if the S-3 version is compatible with the P-3 version. I'd love to see the complete spec sheet(s) for the E8 openers but can't find anything beyond the install guide online.
