I never thought I’d be writing a review about a hemostat, yet here we are. This little marvel has quickly become the overachiever of my toolbox. Need to grab something tiny? Hemostat. Need to hold something awkward? Hemostat. Need to feel like a highly skilled surgeon while performing absolutely non-medical tasks? Definitely Hemostat. The locking mechanism is so satisfying that I’ve caught myself clicking it open and closed for no reason other than pure entertainment. It grips with the determination of a cat refusing to leave a cardboard box and holds on better than some of my coworkers hold on to a good idea. Sturdy, reliable, and surprisingly versatile, this Hemostat has earned a permanent spot in my collection of things I didn’t know I needed but now can’t live without. Five stars for making me feel both productive and oddly professional.

My father busted out a set of hemostats while we were working on a project together. They were thick and robust, and I had to have one. I did a quick search on Amazon and ordered this set of 2. They had pretty good reviews. While the actual jaws seem somewhat precise, they were skinny and very rough in construction compared to his. I think they will be fine for what I might use them for, but they aren't high quality. You know what? I just looked at the price I paid a couple weeks ago. Go ahead and buy them for 8 bucks. Just with a price check to remind myself, 3 star to 4.

Works as supposed to

These aren’t the best hemostats in the world. Back in my doper days they probably would’ve worked great for holding a “roach” or a joint but don’t dare use them for sewing anyone up. I’ve seen less expensive ones at Harbor freight that are made better. The “splines” or “knurling” don’t even line up. The very tips will put something small in a pinch I guess and you could clamp them down but if you’re looking for something that’s made a little better look elsewhere

Definitely recommend. The locking function of these forceps is perfect my needs. Even useful without the locking function. The combination of the curved tip and the straight tip is also a good idea.

Great to keep on hand when changing your piercings. I use these and some tapers I have found to help me change out my jewelry and it has %100 helped cut down the time it took to change said jewelry.
