It is just as black as can be, no 'rust' color at all. Other than that, it works fine and looks fine. We plan a carpentry project to re-imagine it 'upside down' with a wall shelf to hang it by and extend the number of 'curly-Q' hooks as well as add a wall shelf . . .

Beautiful item. A little bigger than I expected or wanted, but looks like it will last a long time.

The color is glossy black. Not at all like the picture. Disappointing because I was specifically looking for that rusty color.

I have my most colorful necklaces hanging on this and sitting on my dresser. I think it looks great, keeps necklaces untangled and easy to find.

It is the perfect height for my longer necklaces. Lots of hooks, so all of my necklaces fit easily. The hooks are large enough that several necklaces can fit on each hook without them getting tangled.

Just received this and it is as sturdy as promised, but wanted to mention that the language in the product description says "I created this" and the necklace tree arrives with a big "Made in China" sticker on it, so the marketing language is misleading. This is not a unique handcrafted piece.
