Another solid SIGG product
I’ve been using SIGG bottles for 20 years and they’ve never let me down. Great addition to my collection. The size is perfect for backpack or messenger bag transport.Bonus: lots of neoprene sleeves that will fit this bottle to combat sweating.

Awesome Bottle, Clean tasting water, but a little small
The Sigg Traveler Classic Water Bottle (0.6-Liters, Dark Blue) is a beautiful bottle. The color pops and the style is highly "with it". I purchased this bottle thinking that it would be the perfect size for me, especially since it's a little bigger than a normal plastic waterbottle, but I typically finish this off in three or four swigs. This is probably because the water seems so "pure" and clean.PROS:* Aesthetically pleasing* Lightweight* Easy open, close* Good Seal* Great for a portable (short distance) water bottle* Pure, clean tasting waterSlight CONS:* Easily dent-able (take some extra care to not to drop or dent it)* Slightly small if using to take out to the tennis courts or basketball courts. (go with 1-liter instead)* Can be hard to clean due to small opening (use water only, and you'll be fine without going with a hardcore cleaning).Overall, I highly recommend this bottle if you need one that's portable, fashionable, and light weight. However keep it mind that the water taste so good, that you'll drink it all down fast. ;)

Light and durable.
Light weight. Can take a beating. Just make sure to dry the threads if in freezing temperatures so it doesn’t end up leaking.

it's a water bottle
I am satisfied with the bottle - it does not taste like metal at the rim, the water always tastes fresh and it is pretty easy to clean (bottle brush recommended).Only bad or averse things include that I dented it in the first hour of owning it and the cap is sometimes difficult for me to remove. A couple times, if I left it in a vehicle, the pressure increased in it and I have had to use a spoon handle as leverage to open the bottle. (I am a weakling)Also, I usually put a lemon wedge in my water in Nalgene bottles but I would not recommend this with this bottle. The opening is so narrow...could probably get a lemon wedge in but good luck getting it out.I like the bottle and I would purchase another.

Light weight, great color, exactly as described
I love 70% of this bottle. :-)Color = GreatSize = GreatComfort = Great (even for small hands)Cleaning = DANG NEAR IMPOSSIBLEWeight = 146g (5.15oz) via my home scale WITH LID.I knew this was going to be a challenge to clean and dry, so that's not anyone's fault but my own. I did look for a SIGG 1L Aluminum single-wall with a 63mm (Nalgene compatible) mouth, but no luck so I went with this one. I'm now rethinking that idea, having found a different Sigg bottle (at the bottom).I wanted something that I could safely use to boil water on the trail for 2 reasons:(1) Emergency hydration: can't boil water in an insulated water bottle - need single wall construction.(2) Warming solution for sleeping bag foot box: I have ice-cube toes when cold weather camping; need a water bottle that can safely (without deformation or LEAKING) to hold very hot water as a foot box warmer in my sleeping bag before heading to bed.I could use a Nalgene bottle for these, but it's (A) even heavier than the aluminum bottle and (B) while "technically" you can boil water in a Nalgene bottle (I've boiled an egg ON THE FIRE using a styrofoam cup - try it, it's neat) you can't do the "boil-in-a-Nalgene" very many times without screwing up the bottle to the point where it's no longer usable. You CAN boil in an aluminum bottle LOTS of times without adverse issues - for years. Also, I don't think Nalgene's warranty will cover replacement when you use your Nalgene over a camp stove or campfire to boil water in it (I could be wrong).I might recommend this Sigg product for an average user.I have since found a better aluminum bottle from Sigg (and it's larger @ 1.5L) that DOES have a large mouth (still don't think it's Nalgene compatible) but it should be easier to clean. :-)https://www.amazon.com/Sigg-Liter-Mouth-Bottle-Traveller/dp/B004LQDTXY/ref=psdc_9630569011_t3_B07HKL8L4P?th=1Look for my review of this new bottle once I get it later this week. :-)Happy Trails.

Liner started peeling way too soon
I chose this product because it appeared to be of a higher quality than similar water bottles manufactured somewhere else. However, a few years into using this product the liner started peeling off. I took care of the bottle and the plastic cap is in excellent condition still. What I can't understand is how can a water bottle made of aluminum and used only with water can last a little over a handful of years. I assumed that Swiss manufacturing standards would mean that this product would last decades at least, but I was way wrong. I contacted Sigg and instead of owning up, they offered 20% off on a future product from their store. This is beyond disappointing and a let down.
