Happy Camper
It's a Toroid, it works, it fit my needs, seems to be of decent quality. I'm a happy camper.

Just what I ordered
Using this to build a ferrite choke for a G5RV antenna with 17 turns of RG58 cable. Should give me something much better than the air-wound choke ("ugly balun") recommended by some purveyors of this multi-band, dipole antenna. Item was carefully packaged and arrived in perfect condition.

What is this material, really?
This toroid was driven into saturation by a broadcast station 10 miles away when used for an UnUn with a longwire. That tells me it will also saturate when transmitting and would generate spurious harmonics, but I could not get it to tune up with the particular radio I was using. It also rolls off at 20 MHz, not the specified 60 MHz for Fair-Rite type 52. I don't know what this material is, but it is not type 52.

Nice Toroid for a high power Guanella balun.
Used three of these with high voltage teflon/fiberglass wire for a 4:1 Guanella Balun. They work well. Would buy again.
