I gave 4 stars as the item is so cool and useful for a family and the process of making ice cream is also well explained in the manual. the only 1 star which is missing was because the box arrived completely destroyed. To me, I turned the device on with a face that is it a new item and working or second hand and not working. However the item was new and worked fine. Thank you SMEG as your name is all over our kitchen :)

Der Smeg ice cream maker ist eine schöne Ergänzung zur Küchenmaschine von Smeg und zaubert herrlich cremiges Eis. Der Behälter ist Smeg-like nicht gerade günstig, aber sehr hochwertig gefertigt und macht einen sehr wertigen Eindruck. Kernstück ist natürlich der Behälter, der über Nacht in den Tiefkühler kommt. Das Fassungsvermögen ist mit 700 ml angegeben. Im Lieferumfang sind noch Rührspatel mit magnetischem Adapter, Zentrierring, transparenter Deckel und ein Eisspatel enthalten. Außerdem finden sich in der Produktbeschreibung einige Rezepte für leckeres Eis. Die Zubereitung ist relativ einfach. Die vorbereitete Masse sollte am besten während die Maschine schon rührt eingefüllt werden, weil die Masse sonst superschnell an den Gefäßwänden anfriert. Unter ständigem Rühren erhält man nach ca. 20 Minuten ein Eis mit wunderbarer Textur, schöner Cremigkeit und absolut frei von Kristallen. Je nach Wunsch kann man die Masse einfrieren oder sofort verzehren. Je länger das Eis später im Behälter bleibt, umso fester wird es und ist nach Stunden noch gefroren. Viel Spaß beim Ausprobieren diverser Rezepturen, Grenzen setzt hierbei nur die Phantasie!
