Works flawlessly
My dog seems to have seasonal allergies and develops a hot spot every summer. I've been using this product for years now and it solves the problem right away. I

Product came damaged
The app won’t allow me to attach a photo, but the product was leaking in the plastic it was wrapped in. At least a quarter of the product had leaked out. It’s a clear plastic bag, and you can obviously see the bottle was leaking. It never should’ve been packed in the box, and sent out.

worked for my pup!
I’ve only been using this on my beagle/ jack Russell mix for about 2-3 days. He suffers from really bad allergies. We’ve tried apoquel and now we are doing cytopoint shots every month (which are AWESOME if your dog suffers from being itchy). He still gets really red on his neck in the same 2 spots. He doesn’t itch too bad anymore, because of his shot but they are hot to touch and hair stopped growing on the spots. I can instantly feel the red spots cool down and within minutes, they lose the bright red color after applying this stuff. He doesn’t mind me putting it on him at all. It’s almost like a cool gel with no scent. Will definitely keep using!! And you can’t beat the price.

Took the Angry Red Out Within One Day
Our youngest Coonhound, Buddy, developed a hotspot on his right cheek. I've never had any dog have a hotspot so was not sure what to get. Within one day of using this (we keep it in the fridge so it's nice and cold when I apply it), Buddy's hotspot started calming down -- the angry red irritated oozing stopped and it looks like it's healing up. Have only been using it for 3 days, will write a follow up review. We have had to curb his running around time and have kept him entertained on the porch with some animal sound toys - he's fond of digging dirt holes to cool off in (despite a comfy bed and fan blowing on him on the covered porch!) & seems hellbent on laying the hotspot side of his face down in the dirt/mulch/etc. So I would recommend this product as it did IMMEDIATELY take the "angry red" look out of his hotspot BUT I recommend taking a firm stance against the time-honored canine practice of cooling off in freshly-dug dirt holes, especially when a hotspot develops. Our first encounter with this condition and hopefully the LAST!

Does the job.
I used to buy Sergeant Hot Spot medication for my dog but they no longer make it so I bought this Sentry one because it has the same basic ingredient and it seems to be doing the job. My dog gets hot spots on occasion and when I put it on the affected areas, it seems to give her immediate relief and last for hours. Not only that, she didn't lick it off. A good product at a decent price. Not too thick and not too watery either. And easy to wash off your hands.
