Question 1

A friend of mine told me about turkey tail mushrooms. What is more beneficial, powder or capsules?

Accepted Answer

Hello There!

Hey Matt!

Thanks for contacting us!

Both capsules and powders are equally effective at delivering in terms of purity, potency, and efficacy. It all comes down to personal preference and what you like best. The capsules work great for travel and convenience purposes. Whereas the extract powders work wonderfully added to all kinds of recipes etc.

I hope that helps!

Question 2

What is the story with heavy metals in this brand? Can someone explain I’m nervous about taking it

Accepted Answer

Muddy,

The key thing to understand with heavy metals is that we are consuming them every day. The food and water we put in our bodies every day will have trace amounts of heavy metals like lead. It's the amount of those metals and the dosage that can be an issue.

Secondly, we have rigorous supply chain controls and robust testing programs to ensure the quality and safety of our mushroom extracts. Consistent with prudent industry practices, our production routinely tests for the Prop 65 listed chemicals of concern, including lead, cadmium, arsenic, and mercury.

If you would like one of our certificates of analysis, please let us know contact us directly off the Real Mushrooms website.

Thanks,
RM Team

Question 3

Which is better this or 5 defenders?

Accepted Answer

Thank you for this question!

Please know that there is merit and value to both our solo extracts and blended extracts. It all boils down to one's personal health needs/goals. In other words, if you want the single mushroom because you heard or read a study then feel free to explore that respected standalone mushroom extract.

However, if you are desiring a more in-depth and comprehensive immune formula with the top immune-boosting functional mushrooms then our 5 Defenders is the one to consider!

The best of both worlds is to explore stacking our 5 defenders with any of our solo extracts. This is the approach many of us here at Real Mushrooms follow.

At the end of the day, this is subjective and based upon many health factors (age, gender, lifestyle, gut health, toxin exposure, exercise, and nutrition)

Question 4

When will this be back in stock? It has been out of stock for months

Accepted Answer

Hello!

Our large bottles of Turkey Tail are readily in stock. Please search for Real Mushrooms Turkey tail. Once you have selected the Turkey Tail 90ct bottle there will be an option for the 200ct version.

We hope that helps.

Thanks,
Real Mushrooms Team
