It works just as expected.
When you first use this, or are flying a place you've never been before, it can take around 5 minutes to get the 8 satellites, but the next battery it locks onto the satellites within a few seconds. I wanted to get my speed with this but it will also be very helpful in finding a lost quad if that ever happens. I haven't tried the return to home. It seems like really experienced pilots have had trouble getting that feature to work properly so I doubt I've figured it out. I hope I never have to find out, but if I do have to try it and it fails, I'll have the longitude and Latitude to go find the thing. $20 is a really cheap insurance policy to protect several hundred dollars worth of equipment. If you crash and lose a $400 quad with a $400 GoPro on it, you'll wish you had spent the $20 on this. When you plug in the first time it will flash 0 Satellites and 0.000000 for your GPS coordinates. After a minute or two it will start giving the GPS coordinates but still flash 0 Satellites. If you arm and fly at this point it will flash something about no RTH function. After 5 minutes it will start listing satellites. Once you have 8, you're good to go.

Up and running in no time
Very straightforward encoding for the Arduino while supported library functions very well. I wish the color coating of the wires were more uniform does not work well in buildings.

Great Product, wire by label
Do not wire this chip by the color of the wires. The one I recieved had voltage on yellow and the wires were randomly arranged, use a microscope or magnifier to read the board labels just above the connectors. Compass is D and C, T is transmit, R is recieve, V is voltage, G is for GND but according to my plane wiring this is the negative power wire. This chip came with no diagram, so research was required as all the colors were the right colors, but on random terminals of the SH1.25 x6 connector

A good gos and magnatometer
No real problems with this unit as I have installed several before. Wish the LED was in a different location. This model is now somewhat dated as newer protocols are out

Pretty good GNSS module, but no flash RAM
The BN-880 arrived fast. The BN-880 is not the version I was hoping for that has the flash RAM. It is the ROM version. I connected it to the ublox u-center and it indicates the ROM version with no flash possible. Will not accept the selection of the BDS satellites in the u-center configuration. Does not track the 3 GNSSs like it states for an M8 series, such as GPS, GLONASS, Galileo. Most always defaults to 2 GNSSs, GPS and GLONASS for tracking. Used Stellarium to see if the Galileo and BDS satellites where low on the horizon and they were not. Images from the u-center data using the BN-880 indoors and version. Internal. Does acquire satellites pretty fast on a cold start. I did return the item.

Great GPS module for the price
Easy to interface. Two I2C lines for the compass/accelerometer and Rx,Tx serial lines for the GPS. It is now part of the navigational system on my Mantis 6WD rover from ServoCity. Using GPS waypoints, I can send it to my neighbors house unattended and return home the same way. It uses a 24L01 transceiver module and ESP32-CAM, with its own WiFi. It also has a MicroSD card reader, with a 128Gb SD card, so I can record a series of waypoints and then have it repeat the same trip. It is a lot of fun to send it on a journey around the house and have it appear a few minutes later coming around the other corner and have it stop where it started. I buy all my modules and components from Amazon.

Nonfunctional, no return/refund option
Nonfunctional upon installation, never finds any satellites while outdoors. No option to return/replace/refund.

GPS module is very accurate
This is by far the most accurate GPS module I have seen. It usually is accurate to within about 3 feet, which is just amazing compared to others. I currently have this attached to a midsize robot using an esp32 and a sabertooth motor controller, ordering another one now.
