I couldn’t be happier with this kettle! The stainless steel design is sleek and way better than plastic—feels more durable and just gives a cleaner, higher-end look. I love that I can choose the exact temperature I want, whether it’s for tea, coffee, or anything else. It boils incredibly fast and even keeps the water warm afterward, which is super convenient. It’s easy to use, works like a charm, and has quickly become one of my favorite kitchen appliances. Definitely a five-star purchase!

Easy to use kettle which is great value for money compared to other options. Wasn't sure about the larger base than the ones with controls on the handles, but it's not that big and it looks fine. Boils quickly, looks well made.

Brilliant and looks good too. Great to be able to boil to a temperature rather than rush to switch off before over boiling. Bound to save money in the long run. Also is super quick and nice to see a timer too.

Good kettle fast boiling nice looking. Selectable temperature is essential for coffee. Quiet overall. But handle broke under normal usage after a couple of years. Then temperature lights started flashing randomly soon after. Annoying volume markings.

I was unsure, but a few weeks use proved it to be a good purchase. It's rugged and it's fast. The capacity is fine, even for adding enough boiling water to a soup pot to get a recipe started. I'm not sure about the electricity consumption, but I do think that the feature which keeps it at the same temperature is more efficient cost wise than re-boiling a kettle if I need more very hot water when cooking. It's not so light because it's stainless steel, but stainless steel is 2nd best to borosilicate for health reasons. As it tends to do the brushed stainless steel outer surface does collect fingerprints, smudges, and water stains; a quick wipe with a bit of kitchen towel with a dribble of ethyl or isopropyl alcohol on it wipes them away -vodka would work as well. Please, ONLY do this when the kettle is cool. I've had this for almost 6 months, it's still working fine, no reduction in heating speed, no faulty parts or bits falling off. I think it's well made and I like it enough to recommend it to other shoppers.

Good product, good value for money. Low noise level, durable and has a good capacity. The water warmer facility works really well.

UPDATE: I purchased this kettle for £80 via Amazon. I thought that I was buying a quality product and I was happy with it until it started malfunctioning after only 14 months of light use. The buttons no longer work reliably when pressed. I contacted Breville, who informed me that they would not replace it and they offered me 30% discount off the price of a replacement. Am I going to throw good money after bad? No, definitely not. I no longer recommend this product. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I did a lot of research before buying this kettle. The issue that many people have had with the lid is easily resolved by gently pinching one of the sprung metal cutouts with a pair of long nose pliers. This minor adjustment takes 10 seconds and it makes the lid easier to lift off, reducing the chances of the knob breaking. Be careful not to make the lid too loose, because you don't want it to fall off when you tip the kettle! Before buying this product I read the manual to check that the beeping noises can be muted, which they can. However, the beeps are very subtle and I therefore don't feel the need to mute them. The kettle has a reassuring weight to it - it is well designed and made and I hope to still be using it in many years time!

Love my new kettle! Looks really smart, boils well, quicky, and to the temperature selected, and not noisy at all. I think its great value for money, so far so good! Have always had confidence in Breville products.
