Hot Wheels Sky Crash Tower Track Set & Toy Car

Disappointed with this, it only works with a few of the hot wheels cars, most of my sons collection of cars wouldn’t go through the motors and either jammed or wouldn’t make it to the top. Other than the car supplied we only found one other car that would work, and these would only manage a few circuits before they flew off or turned round and got stuck. It’s difficult to get the cars to crash into each other when hardly any of the cars will actually work with this set. Make sure you buy 4 decent D batteries to use with this and they need to be new in order to have enough power to fire the cars to the top, once the power drops there’s no chance it will work. Also worth noting once assembled the track pieces cannot be separated and put back into the box without damaging them, so once assembled a lot of storage room is required. The motor unit does unclip and fit onto the side of the tower to reduce its storage size a bit. The assembly instructions are good, just way too small, it wouldn’t have hurt to have had the diagrams a bit bigger so you could actually see how it goes together and there are a lot of similar looking pieces. A nice idea, just doesn’t work as expected or described. It’s too frustrating trying to get it to work to be a decent fun toy, for the price there are better alternatives available.

My son loves hot wheels so I thought it would be an interesting toy where he would be able to use his huge collection of cars. Unfortunately he wasn’t really into it and at first was scared by the noise. It is very loud and not really a pleasant sound. The assembly took forever although I was reading the instructions they weren’t very clear and I was still confused.. it needs 4 large batteries (not included) and if they’re only a little worn out the cars won’t be able to go up really. But the worst thing is, this thing destroys cars!!!! It bends their wheels and its not always possible to fix them back. Before we realised that, it has damaged many nice cars from my boy’s collection. Also, the majority of cars won’t be able to complete the whole route. They need to be a certain size, shape and be metal underneath in order for the little magnets on the track to keep them going. So, unless you don’t mind the noise it makes, replacing batteries quite often, the size of it and the fact that it is repetitive and damages cars, go ahead. But I really regret buying it and it just stands in the house and collects the dust. Wouldn’t buy again.

My little boy has dozens of hot wheels cars but this track only works with the car it came with. If we lose this car, the track will be useless. Even with the car it comes with, it doesn’t work all the time. I should also say that it only does one thing. While that is pretty cool, when it works, it gets old pretty quickly. My four year old was bored after five minutes. He loves his Hot Wheels tracks and normally plays with them for hours. So this, combined with the fact it only works with one car (sometimes) means it is a one star review! DO NOT BUY!

This product only works well with brand new heavy duty batteries. I takes 4x D and after a few plays the toy doesn’t have enough power to get the cars over the top. Also it flings cars everywhere, don’t put it near anything breakable! It takes up a lot of space and is not easy to put together and take apart for storage. I wish I hadn’t bought it. The criss cross crash track is way better.

Only the car you’re given works on this track. No other hot wheels cars go round it, including a large pack bought alongside it. And you can definitely forget non hot wheels cars. Really poor. My son played with it for about 2.5 minutes, and never touched it again. Shocking

Bought this item for my son for Christmas as he's Hot Wheels mad at the moment. Less than 3 months later its already defunct. I have tried 3 different sets of brand new batteries (costing me £30 alone today) and it will not work even with the most expensive batteries. I now have a very upset 5 year old because his beloved toy will not work.

We bought this for our 5y old’s birthday. After painful assembly with complicated instructions and spending £10 on special batteries, it failed to fire the car around successfully. It was then impossible to dismantle and send back in the original box. I dread to think it will now be deemed redundant and go straight to landfill.

I wouldn't recommend this product. It only works with a few hotwheels cars and even then it only works with brand new D size batteries. After a few minutes there isn't enough power to catapult the cars into the system. Very disappointed.

Grandson loves it

Possedere una pista delle Hotweels è il sogno di ogni bambino e non solo... diciamolo anche i grandi si divertono moltissimo. Questa pista è bellissima! divertente il concetto della spinta meccanica verso l'alto e dei possibili incidenti che si possono creare. Bella la velocità che la macchinina acquista durante la discesa. Bellissime le paraboliche. Il montaggio non risulta essere complesso, basta seguire pedissequamente le lettere stampate su ogni pezzo ed accoppiarle. Farsi aiutare dalle istruzioni comunque non è segno di debolezza, ma di intelligenza. Attenzione alla forma delle pile che servono per fare funzionare la pista, io la prima volta ho sbagliato "dimensioni" perché ho comprato a colpo d'occhio. La pista nel complesso è un pò rumorosa, vuoi per via delle macchine che saltano e che sbattono nel percorso, ma sopratutto per via della parte meccanica che spinge. Attenzione, non tutte le macchinine Hotweels funzionano bene nel senso che alcune si ribaltano, e qualcuna più larga addirittura si blocca. Ad ogni modo a me ed ai miei figli piace molto.

My 1 1/2 year old child loves it. I personally found the instructions difficult to build. It took way longer then it probably should have. Don't forget the batteries, it needs 6 DD batteries. Toy is a ton of fun, it's also HUGE.
