First off, the good stuff: these are among, if not the most comfortable around the ear plugs I've had. They fit well in my ears, which almost no plugs do, and actually stay there. The cord is a reasonable length; not so long that it constantly gets tangled in stuff or dangles annoyingly when I'm walking around wearing them and my phone is in my pocket, but also not so short as to feel unwieldy.The bad: there's only one bad thing, but it's the reason my rating is so low. After less than two months, the headphones no longer work properly. When I plug them in (and this is with multiple different devices, so it's not an issue with the phone or computers) the sound is often muted or staticy. I have to consistently adjust and twist the plug to get it to work properly. It's too bad, because otherwise these are great, but they should really last a lot longerUpdate:. After seeing this review, Beslot reached out to me unsolicited and offered to send me a new set of headphones, no charge, which arrived yesterday. Hopefully these ones last longer, but good customer service either way.Update:. 6/27/17. The replacements stopped working today. The volume was going up and down for much of this morning, and then just stopped. Very disappointing

Well it's cheap and does the job, which is good, but it has slightly flimsy and confusing construction. They don't explain or have a diagram of how to put the thing together, so I had to get on Amazon and look at the picture to try to figure out how/in what direction to put the wires. It's easy to put the things in the wrong way. Also, the wires don't necessarily stay in the plastic holders, depending on how you're storing them after use. So you may have to put the thing back together again a bunch of times if the wires keep falling out while you stored them.I mainly have been using this to talk on my cellphone. Which, it's fine, but when you have the earbuds in your ears, you can't hear your voice when you're talking, which is kind of weird... Anyway I think in retrospect I might have gotten a different style of thing for that purpose. If/when this breaks that's what I'll probably do.

These were excellent earbuds while they worked - the sound was superb, outside noise extremely quiet, button controls easy to use, length of the cable made them easy to drape across my neck when not in use. I rarely used them to talk on the phone and never used the controls for that, always phone controls. My one complaint though is a big one, because after about a year of regular use they are non-functional - they will no longer accept a charge so with the last charge drained they are now dead for good. I never charged them on the go or abused the mini usb port, so I am pretty disappointed in the lifespan pf this product.

I needed buds that would not fall out during exercise. The shape of my ear canal apparently makes it difficult for buds to stay in place. These do. Not impressed with the sound quality, though. Sounds tinny on a lot of plays, but I'll put up with that so long as they stay on.

I have very small ears and have been using Skullcandy Chops for years. Sadly they discontinued that item and my pair finally wore out. I was hopeful that these would be just as good--microphone, volume control, etc. all great! For me though, the over the ear clip pieces which fit around the wire and are not connected to the earbud like on the Chops, just didn't hold around my ear comfortably. They were more difficult to put on and difficult to discern right from left without looking directly at it.

I had to return these because the earhooks didn't fit my ears, one of the main reasons I bought these. Therefore, they would not suit my needs. Didn't plug them in so I don't have an opinion on what they sound like.

Umm... They don't connect well to some machines (my Apple laptop and my ipod - lots of static on both unless exactly positioned). After using them for two days, the ear bud part of one has ripped off. What? If these were super cheap, I might understand this. I don't consider $17 super cheap, but maybe I'm just getting old.

These earphones sound really good the ear piece is just big enough that's it fits snug in the ear and delivers a satisfying bass pulse. The only reason I gave these only 4 stars is because they are wired and not bluetooth. My wife uses these for the gym and I use my beats solo headphones but these earphones have got me searching for bluetooth earphones that hopefully sound as good.
