Very good translation. But there are books out there that are better and more correct with proofs.

This book is badly translated from Arabic, making it often difficult to follow. In some places the translation is completely incorrect. For example on page 42 “fasting, not prayer” is translated as fasting and prayer, completely changing the meaning

Horrible translation, this was from the 2nd edition, trash like the first. I took a course awhile back and thought let's see if it improved. You know to see if it's about ilm or money...well cover changed that it. They should send me a credit. Just put your money to getting the real deal Arabic and if not, then purchase the best and way superior "A Hanbali Epitome The Student's Guide" from Dar al Arqam, hardback edition, because these delivery people just throw your stuff damaging it. If I get another one that's has bent corners, transposed scratches or crease cover, I am not going to keep returning I will simply terminate this service, they are easy to shop with but limited in selection and not essential.
