Cheap but still usable.
I got these because, frankly, they looked like a neat way to introduce my kids to metrology. At a few bucks apiece I could buy half a dozen and place them around the house. I keep one in the garage and one at my computer desk because they're useful in a pinch. They're no more accurate than a tape measure, but because they slide into the device like calipers, they're more accurate than a ruler or a short measuring tape. Overall, if you understand their limitations, they're great and meet those modest expectations.

Price vs quality
If if you don’t need to be 100% specific within thousands of an inch, but you just wanna know roughly how big the circumference of something is this is a tool to buy nice and cheap and does job.

Super handy
They are perfect for occasional use. They seem to be fairly accurate for being plastic

Great for the price

Handy to keep around
These are really handy for quick measurements. I saw several reviews that mentioned the markings were off by a millimeter at some point. I can live with that - they're not a precision caliper. For household or quick workbench measurements, they're great. I bought two 2-packs so I could keep them in several locations. Would buy again.

Serviceable, depending on your intended use
These aren't super accurate, but I knew that before buying them, and for my intended use they don't need to be. I have a similar set of calipers from Harbor Freight that I got years ago, and has served me well for things where I only really need to know measurements to the nearest 1/32" or so. I bought these for the same purpose, but thought they looked like they could be slightly better quality. Even if they weren't any better, I figured they would still be at least as good as the HF ones. Sadly, these have a couple of issues that actually made them worse:1. These don't measure to 6", they only measure to a maximum of 5-1/16". The retainer piece on the back (meant to keep the hole depth rod in place) is too big and prevents the slider from reaching the end. There is a notch in the slider that is meant to clear the retainer, but it's not big enough. 95% of the time this won't cause issues for me, but it's sloppy to say the least.2. The hole depth rod was cut too short. On both sets that I received, the rod is about 3/32" too short, so I can't use either of these for measuring depth, which is a much bigger issue for me. Rather than give up, though, I'm thinking about filing the rods down more so that they're an even 1/8" short - at least that way I can take a measurement and add the extra length in my head.I rarely have a need to use the metric scale, so this won't affect me much, but there also seems to be an issue with the metric vernier scale. The "10" mark is not even close to lining up with 0.5 mm.Beyond those issues, these perform like you can expect from plastic calipers. I don't trust these (or any plastic calipers for that matter) to be accurate enough to really make much use of the vernier scale, but that's good enough for my intended use, therefore I give them 3 stars. Overall, though, it's generally a bad sign when a product is worse than Harbor Freight's cheap stuff, especially when it's about double price (per each).I will say, however, that mine don't have the issue with markings rubbing off, like other reviewers mentioned. Even with firm pressure from my thumb, I couldn't get the markings to even begin to fade. Maybe mine have a different kind of ink, or went through a different printing process.

Great experience.
You won't be disappointed.

Inexpensive and accurate for fieldwork
I work in HVAC and these are perfect for measuring fan shaft sizes in tight locations. Being plastic, they are relatively durable, and the numbers are easy to read. At this price point I’m not too concerned with breaking or losing one because I have another one on back up. Measurements are accurate and perfect for out on the field.

The vernier works but the depth gauge is off by 1/16 inch
I liked the price and the plastic, and the vernier scale works. But the depth gauge was off by 1/16 inch (poor manufacturing), and one of the calipers was really, really loose (more poor manufacturing). I guess you get what you pay for.
User
Inaccurate
So frustrating. This is the 3rd caliper I've ordered from Amazon and they're all inaccurate.

Works good
I don't like that it doesn't have a lock to keep the setting in place but it is very clear and easy to read
User
Pretty bad
The markings are slightly off between the two which is what ever but the depth gauge on both is about 1.5mm off so it's unusable. If you're buying for your kids or don't need a depth is a good cheapest option but I'm going to return.
