I expected a book filled with plans for home built gun projects. That is not what I received. The only reference to building your own firearm is an article on building a 1911 from an 80% lower kit. The rest of the book is about bringing old firearms back to life. I will be keeping the book, there is good information in it on some tools, but it is not a book on how to build your own firearms.

Interesting reading material if guns are your thing.

Thought this book was going to show me things I could do to tweak my existing guns/rifles to make them better but seems without a machine shop or at least a well equipped work shop, this book isn't going to work for me.

This has a lot of good info and pics on how to make repairs to certain guns and how to build a 80%1911 but not a Block so I was a little disappointed when I got it

this is a great read and has good information

My husband loves this book and reads it all the time. Says it has been very helpful for him.

IT WASN'T EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR BUT IT WILL WORK FOR OTHER PISTOLS
