This is my third Roo Case and I'm thrilled with it. The color is as pictured-a nice vibrant red. I also have ones in magenta and purple for other devices. The Roo Cases are great quality, durable and completely surrounds my Kindle. It also has a velcro tab on the left side which folds under to lock the Kindle safely in the section of the case that surrounds it. There is also another velcro patch to hold the enclosed portion in place in the main case. You can remove the one section to read without the full case if desired. There are ridges on the inside to help hold it in landscape position. And it has a loop to hold a stylus/pen which comes with it. A nice bonus!

This case fits the Kindle fine, and I love the soft feel of the fabric and the color. I do wish rooCASE offered a slimmer option though - we used to have a similar case for an older generation Fire, and it wasn't quite as thick. I preferred the old design, but this is better than other options we have found from different brands because of its sturdiness and soft feel.

Works as expected. I got this for a 75 year old woman along with the Kindle fire and she has no problems with it. It's good for her because it's a smart case, therefore she doesn't have to try to remember to turn it off.

This is my second Roocase for my second Fire. The first one was still in great condition (after 4 years of daily use!) but the new Fire did not fit. I think you can't go wrong with this company. I also have Roocases for our ipod nanos and they are fantastic.
