Awful blade release mechanism and heavy.
I wouldn't buy this again, and i do not use the one I have anymore. It's heavy, and that is a pro and a con. It feels substantial and solid, but it's heavy enough to be a pain to carry around. You'll feel it if clipped in a pocket and it definitely drags on you when kept in a carpenter pants leg pocket. It's true flaw is in the release for the blade itself. All you need to do is press down lightly and the blade can slide out slightly. A pen or screw driver in the same pocket as this blade can easily slide the blade out, which is exactly what happened to me twice resulting in sliced fingers. Other brands sell utility knives where the you need to press and tip the release side to release the blade and I would recommend you look for one of those.

It's a pretty slick blade to have on you
It's a pretty slick blade to have on you. I worked in warehousing for almost 5 years now and I loved having this on me. It's perfect when you are in a rush to cut boxes down. I attached this to a heavy duty retractable key chain. grab it from your hip, slide the blade out, cut your box(es) down, slide the blade back in and let go of it to retract. It makes cutting boxes fluid and fast. My only grip is that the allen screws that hold the whole thing together loosen up after awhile. I can imagine a dab of heavy duty loctite would fix this but I never got around to it and lost most of the screws in one day.

Good product but after a 3 foot drop the button ...
Good product but after a 3 foot drop the button to retract and extend the blade broke off and the knife became unusable. Also standard blades seemed a little too big to fit in so I had to take the dremel to my Stanley brand standard blades
