Okay, so before I begin let me say this. The Kit is complete with a small pole and bag. All fittings were there as well as extra niceties. I read reviews before my purchase and was a bit concerned. People saying, they had issues with the fittings etc... and needed to modify the head. That is not the case at all. The Hose Kit comes with a quick disconnect. It is meant to go on your faucet and hose NOT THE HEAD. The small handle has a specific bracket, and if you want to use a NORMAL pool pole, it has a different bracket for that. I wouldn't do it because it is so small. No need for a huge pole unless your pool is DEEP. I have a 27 Foot round pool, 54 Inch deep. I waited until my pool water level was down, Where I live, we must add water throughout the swimming season, and knowing this is driven by water I knew I could do both things at the same time. Understand the head is small. It is not like a normal vacuum head. Take your time, get a cold drink, and sunglasses and be ready to clean your pool (your tan will improve). I took about 2.5 hours because I had changed my sand in the sand filter and a cup or two got into my pool, I bought extra bags to put two on at a time for double filtering. This small, amazing head sucked up the sand and other debris without any issue whatsoever. It is small enough to get behind my ladder too. That is one place I have had trouble getting in to, to clean properly before. The filter bags are easy to clean as well. Turn them inside out and rinse them, stuff just falls off.

We had one of these for a few years until we lost a part of it. So, I ordered this one as a replacement. It is exactly what we need. It picks up big pieces off of the pool floor. When preparing our pool for winter, we had to remove the brushes off the vacuum because leaves kept getting stuck in them. But it's convenient because the brushes pop right off and then you can put them back on when you're done. It doesn't pick up tiny bits of dirt, because the mesh bag obviously has holes in it and the dirt just floats right out of it. However, your filter should take care of that if you stir it up after use. I don't like that I have to get in the pool to sweep it, especially since the hose is attached to the vacuum, pouring in ice cold water. However, It's something I put up with for a clean pool. Very sturdy. Works as described.

I was very skeptical of this thing based on some of the other reviews, but for about $30 bucks, it was low enough to write it off. The way this works is similar to the built-in motorized pool sweeps: a flow of water creates suction along the opening, and debris can't help but get swept into the mesh bag. The Good: Assembly was very easy; it also comes with a detachable quick connector, but I opted for the direct connection to the garden hose. Some of the other reviewers complained that the threaded opening was either too small, or required an adapter. If you use a standard 3/4 inch garden hose, the threaded male end will work fine. Turn the hose on almost full blast, and this thing will syphon up everything from fine dirt to small gravel. This is much more powerful than my built-in sweep with a 1/3 hp motor. The Not-So-Good: The included product handle is okay if you are trying to clean a shallow pool (under 3 feet/1 meter), but for anything anything deeper you’ll need a long aluminum pool handle — i used my handle for the net. You’ll want to double bag the mesh bags for finer dirt and silt, otherwise it will just flow back into the water. The Ugly: The only way to attach a regular pool handle (the one with detachable net or scrubber), and seat it over the top of the included handle. I then duct taped the larger handle to the pool hose in two places along the shaft. This will work fine up to the reach of the handle. If you have a pool deeper than 5 feet / 1.5 meters, then you’re going to have to go swimming. My pool is 2 meters at the deep end, so in order to reach anything, I had to climb in with this contraption. It all depends on how bad you want a sparkling pool bottom. The Bottom Line: For what this does, it’s okay for the price. I looked at the high-end motorized vacuums that will attach to a standard pole, but none of the better rated ones were less than $200. If you have a shallow pool, this will clean it with minimum hassle. If you have a deeper pool, be prepared to get wet. The suction is ferocious, but for best results, you’re gonna have to “McGyver” this thing. Again, it’s better for spas and shallow pools, not so much for deeper pools.

Works great for little guy

All the parts were there as stated it was very easy to put together. No you’re not gonna use it to scrub the bottom of your pool, but it does exactly what it says. You can vacuum the bottom of your pool. I have a 20 foot across 52 inch deep And I was able to vacuum all of the bugs that I had killed. I had to empty the bag three times this little thing is cheap but it functions perfectly like they say you get what you pay for in my opinion I got a great deal. The product works

It sucks up pretty well. Small debris comes up easily. Leaves and larger things should be scooped up with a net 1st. It needs a better filter to get small stuff. Sand particles go right through. I use and old sock inside the bag. That stops most of the little stuff. 1 negative. The handle is a bit flimsy. It tends to come apart if u try to press down firmly.

I have a small above ground pool and it’s our first pool so I didn’t want to break the bank with an automatic vacuum. This one was appealing because I thought I could have control of it and it’s a small pool so.. The hook up to the hose comes off all the time and when the hose is pinched and no water comes through the vacuum doesn’t work at all I kept having to stop to get the hose right and then the hose would detach from the unit. Then I had to get that right. It does collect stuff in the bag but because it is a mesh bag it mostly creates dust and made the water cloudy afterwards. I think it actually made ny pool dirtier. Because the stick is so flimsy and the unit is light it kept floating to the surface so cleaned I had to push down as well. It was a bit tiring in my hands. I’m not asking for my money back because I do think that I went cheap and I got just that. I’m going to spend a little more $$ on a better product and am just a little smarter now. lol
