Summit R200W

I moved into a house with one. Worked perfectly fine for 1-2 years. All of a sudden my wife asks me "is it normal for the oven flame to still be on when i turn the oven off?" I went to see if she just over rotated the knob, but nope, knob and everything was fine. The oven just was not turning off. Well then I thought perhaps it went into a self clean mode or something? I better turn off the gas just to make sure. And then i brushed against the outside and it was much much hotter than I ever felt it before. Then the internal temperature of the oven got so hot it was creating a burning smell from whatever residue was burning on the oven walls. The smoke detectors all went off at this point. I had to pull the oven and fridge out and turn off the gas line to the oven/stove. Afterwards I looked and I still saw a little glowing light underneath. I open the bottom tray and saw the heating element to ignite the oven was still glowing red hot. So I unplugged the electricity as well.Overall frightening experience. I don't even want to imagine what would have occurred had my wife not made the comment to me or if I was not in the house to turn the gas off. This may have been a freak incident, but I will never buy this brand again and this guy is going in some scrap yard.

It is cheaply made i'm down to using a lighter to ignite burners. All the electronic burners don't work the oven door wont close properly. It is two years old,if this product isn't a representation of planned obsolescence nothing else is.
