All I can say is this most kydex holsters are formed around blanks for specific firearms. And as such although it might rest in the holster it may not positively engage the trigger housing to keep the firearm in place

Q: Will this work for the shield .380 EZ?

It fits the Shield 2.0 9mm and 40 cal with an integrated Crimson Trace sight. They're different sizes than the .380, and Kydex won't mold to your gun's shape. If it doesn't say it fits the .380 Shield, it probably doesn't. I wouldn't expect the EZ to matter since that's on the on the grip of the pistol.
