**update***02/09/21 this has been installed in our kitchen sink for approximately six months and the paint is starting to chip off and is very sharp to the point you could cut yourself!!!"***we had some difficulty finding matte black flanges for our kitchen sink. I found these on Amazon an between the garbage disposal side and the flange for the other side of the sink, the cost for both was less than what I would have had to pay at a chain hardware store.

Purchased 2 of these of different sinks and they were both a great fit. Love the color and finish

Just got our kitchen remodeled and chose matte black for our hardware and sink faucet so we wanted the flange to match the vibe and it was perfect. It looks durable and our contractor installed it in no time! Very happy with this purchase!

This did not work with a brand new Insinkerator disposal. It went too deep and my plumber couldn't use it. Looks beautiful though. I wish it had worked. Watch the return policy as well. I bought this way ahead of time and it was too late to return it by the time the sink was installed.

When the house was built, the builder used a white plastic Opella insert in the garbage disposal drain to make it the same color as the white sink. I thought this Plumb Pak was a similar insert, but discovered quickly that it was not. It's actually a replacement for the actual metal drain insert that comes with the disposal. I was dismayed at first, but then realized that this was the better way to resolve the issue.Instead of installing a new plastic facade that would break again in a few years and made the diameter of the garbage disposal drain slightly smaller (and slightly more difficult to access to clean out things that shouldn't be put into a disposal), replacing the actual flange made a lot more sense.I did have to buy some plumber's putty, but following the instructions from the manufacturer of my disposal, I was able to disassemble and remove the old stainless steel flange with this nice white one. It looks nice and the diameter of the drain is that much larger (better) than if I'd replaced the plastic insert.If a job is worth doing, then it is worth doing right.

I installed this on a new kitchen sink. Have been using almost every day for the last 3 months. Have not had any problems with the paint chipping or peeling. Still looks brand new!

Review is based on the middle disposal drain cover. The ones on each side were another brand purchased at same time but are also chipping around edge. However, the are all just over a year old, and the garbage disposal one started chipping/fading within 3 months, the others lasted at least 11-months before signs of chipping. Not sure if they make better ones, as this was our 4th set using different brands each time. All have lasted a year or less, and the first ones we bought at Lowe’s cost triple and chipped the quickest, so it may just be inevitable…

This flange and stopper looks great in black and the cost was much less than the major brands. It looks and works great in our black composite sink (but would also look good in stainless or enamel sinks). I'd definitely recommend!
