We live on a property with a barn and tend to get a lot of bees, wasps, and other flying insects around our buildings during the warmer months. We decided to try these TrapStiks, and they've worked really well.They were easy to hang up, and within a short time we noticed they were catching a surprising number of pests. We've used them around our barn and near our home, and they've definitely helped reduce the number of insects flying around the areas where we spend time.What I like most is that there's no mixing chemicals or maintenance involved. Just hang them up and let them do their job. The traps have held up well outdoors and continue working for an extended period of time.If you're dealing with wasps, mud daubers, or carpenter bees around your home, barn, workshop, or other outdoor structures, these are worth trying. They've been a simple and effective solution for us.

Works on Paper Wasps. The syrup and boric acid didn't work. But I think you need to catch them before the flowers bloom because they skip the syrup and go for the flowers. In the meantime, I tried the sticky trap. It worked. Like another comment, it took almost a week for the first wasp to show interest. Next day, another. Then it started speeding up. So if you can kill one wasp and stick it to the glue, it might go faster. My guess is that it begins to look like a hive is being made, so they start joining in.

This trap is amazing. It was covered in dead wasps. The one we tried before caught one! We have bought these 3 different times, ( not in the same year). They work, easy to put together, hang and done.

Amazing and effective in reducing population! I hung it on the fence between my neighbor and me, who is the one with the Hornet nest problem in his front yard! Within 24 hours, this trap caught dozens of them!! It is definitely a lot safer than using chemicals. Yes, it won't get rid of the colony, but Hornet wasps usually won't bother you if you don't provoke them. The key is to reduce their presence in the garden.

We have carpenter beds underneath our 2nd floor balcony. These work great in helping to get rid of them each year! Easy to assemble and hang, sturdy, and they really attract the bees. This year was the first time we heard “stuck” bees “crying”; they sounded like babies. It was very eerie.

Bought 3 of these in April. I had guests visit for lunch. We sat on the patio and wasps would annoy us. Some of my guests are hyper-scared of flying insects. I bought three of these, hung them on my gutters. I didn’t expect them to work as well as they did. They don’t get honeybees and they survive the rain. Highly effective! Would definitely buy again.

I was a little hesitant to purchase these trapsik items. Many said that they did not work for carpenter bees. That was the main reason I purchased them. Per the instructions it said to mount them horrizontally for carpenter bees. It was quite cool for two days after mounting them. However, when it warmed up I was surprised that there were many bees and quite a few wasps stuck to them. I feel they are expensive, but so far they seem to be working well. In one open building that used to be a staging area for dairy cattle I have had a bad problem for years. Prior to placing the traps I would see 30 or 40 bees flying around at one time. After having the traps out for about a week of warm weather I am only seeing 3 or 4 at a time. Big improvement. I guess I will have to bite the bullet and purchase a few more.

Put out all 3 of them and based on photos I would have expected to catch at least one. Not a single wasp, carpenter bee, nadda stuck to this product. I have them around my house in key spots they gather. Nothing stuck to any of the traps. Not excited for this product at all.
